Speaking to reporters, Head of the Preschool Education Department of Nghe An Department of Education and Training Ngo Thi Thu Huong informed that after receiving information that many 5-year-old preschool children at Nghia Loc Commune Kindergarten, Nghia Dan District had many bruises on their bodies, the Nghe An Department of Education and Training issued a document directing relevant units to investigate the incident and clarify individual and collective responsibilities.

In addition, the Department also requested local functional units, leaders of the District Education Department, and principal of Nghia Loc Kindergarten to pay attention to the children's health, visit, encourage, and share with their families.

Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of Nghia Dan district, Pham Huy Son, informed that upon receiving information about the incident, the Department's staff went directly to the school and coordinated with relevant agencies to grasp the incident. Requested the school to report the incident and clarify responsibilities. At the same time, also recommended that the police intervene to verify clearly.

To broaden public opinion on this matter, the reporter contacted the Principal of Nghia Loc Commune Kindergarten many times but was refused to provide information.

"Regarding the viewpoint of not covering up, requiring information to the press about the incident, the Department has clearly requested the school leadership about this matter," said Mr. Son.

Previously, as reported by Kinh te & Do thi newspaper, on the afternoon of October 7, 6 5-year-old kindergarten students at Nghia Loc kindergarten, Nghia Dan district were taken home by their parents, who were shocked to see many injuries on their bodies. Of the 6 children with bruises and scars, 2 were quite serious, with numerous bruises on their backs, faces, and legs.

Worried about their child's health, that same night the parents took the child to the hospital for a check-up and to monitor his health condition. At the same time, they reported the matter to the leaders of Nghia Loc Kindergarten.

Initially verifying the incident, Nghia Loc commune leader Lai Van Duong said that the kindergarten reported that in the afternoon of the same day, the two teachers in charge of the class were busy with other work, so they assigned another teacher to look after the class.

The teacher was busy with something while watching the children and was unable to stop the incident in time. A report from the school said that 6 children were beaten by a female classmate using her teaching equipment in the classroom.

Currently, the case is being investigated by the authorities of Nghia Dan district.
