Speaking with reporters, Ngo Thi Thu Huong, Head of the Preschool Education Department of the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, informed that after receiving information about many 5-year-old preschool children at Nghia Loc commune preschool in Nghia Dan district having numerous bruises on their bodies, the Nghe An Department of Education and Training issued a directive to relevant units to investigate the incident and clarify the responsibilities of individuals and groups.
In addition, the Department also requested local functional units, the leaders of the District Education Department, and the principals of Nghia Loc kindergarten to pay attention to the children's health, visit and encourage them, and share with their families.

According to Pham Huy Son, Deputy Head of the Education and Training Department of Nghia Dan District, upon receiving information about the incident, officials from the Department went directly to the school and coordinated with relevant agencies to investigate the matter. They requested the school to provide a report on the incident and clarify responsibilities. They also requested the police to investigate the matter thoroughly.
In an effort to broaden public understanding of this matter, reporters contacted the principal of Nghia Loc commune's kindergarten multiple times, but were repeatedly refused information.
"Regarding the principle of not covering up and requiring information to be provided to the press about the incident, the Department has clearly requested this from the school's leadership," Mr. Son said.

Previously, as reported by Kinh Te & Do Thi newspaper, on the afternoon of October 7th, six 5-year-old kindergarten students from Nghia Loc commune kindergarten in Nghia Dan district were picked up from school, leaving their parents horrified by numerous injuries. Of the six children with bruises and welts, two were quite severely injured, with countless bruises on their backs, faces, and legs.
Worried about their child's health, the parents took the child to the hospital for examination and monitoring that very night. They also reported the incident to the leadership of the Nghia Loc commune kindergarten.
Initial verification of the incident by Nghia Loc commune leader Lai Van Duong stated that the kindergarten reported that on the afternoon of the same day, the two teachers in charge of the class were busy with other work, so they assigned another teacher to supervise the class.
The teacher was busy with something else while supervising the children and therefore couldn't intervene in time when the incident occurred. According to the school report, six children were attacked by a female classmate using the teacher's teaching equipment in the classroom.
The incident is currently being investigated by the authorities in Nghia Dan district.
