Accompanying the development of the province
In recent times, press agencies in the province have actively promoted the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Thai Nguyen. Not only contributing to raising awareness of the entire political system and people about the importance and significance of the program, through the process of working, journalists have promptly reflected on difficulties and obstacles at the grassroots level, thereby helping the province's professional agencies grasp the information and take drastic action.
In addition to creating a strong spread of this meaningful program, the press's propaganda activities also contributed to helping the province do a good job of socialization, mobilizing organizations and individuals to accompany and support poor households in Thai Nguyen to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.
It is gratifying that after nearly a year of implementation, by April 30, Thai Nguyen had completed support for the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for 1,838 households, reaching 100% of the plan, finishing 8 months ahead of the deadline assigned by the Government . Of which, 1,221 houses were newly built, 617 were repaired and renovated.
The total implementation cost is nearly 195 billion VND, of which more than 80% of resources are mobilized from socialization, demonstrating combined strength and high community responsibility.
Comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged: This result is thanks to the great contribution of press agencies in propaganda work.
The program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses is just one of many policies and strategies that have been promoted by the press in recent times. Contributing significantly to the province's innovation, Thai Nguyen press has promptly provided information on policies, projects, and development plans of the province. This useful information has helped people and businesses seize opportunities to plan for investment and development.
Operating with a multi-dimensional perspective, the press agencies in the province have fulfilled their role quite well in reflecting the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of the people to the Party, authorities at all levels, and socio-political organizations. At the same time, they have informed readers, radio listeners, and television viewers about economic, social, security and defense issues in the province and nationwide.
Also through the press, many positive examples, new factors, fighting and criticizing negative phenomena, corruption, and social issues have been fully, promptly and accurately informed. Through that, it contributes to promoting emulation movements, implementing the socio-economic development tasks of the province, especially the implementation of key programs and projects.

Actively participate in major "playgrounds"
In addition to performing political tasks, press agencies in the province have actively participated in press competitions organized by the province, the Vietnam Journalists Association, and central ministries and branches and achieved very positive results.
For example, in the 2024 Golden Hammer and Sickle journalism award season on Party building, Thai Nguyen Newspaper had a journalistic work that won the C prize.

The Provincial Radio and Television Station also always participates in major press awards nationwide. In the 2024 National Press Awards season, the Station had 2 works honored. Of which, 1 work won the Encouragement Prize in the television category, 1 work won the Third Prize in the radio category.
Journalist Manh Nghinh, an author who has been nominated many times at major press awards, said: The Thai Nguyen press environment is becoming more and more vibrant, especially in terms of participation in national press awards. In order not to fall behind our colleagues across the country, journalists like us always make constant efforts. Along with participating in major national press awards, press agencies also actively responded to press competitions organized by the province such as: Bringing the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee into life; Protecting the ideological foundation of the Party; Composing and promoting literary, artistic and press works with the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style"...
It can be seen that Thai Nguyen press is making changes to catch up with the general trend of the country's press.
