Exciting National U9 Football Tournament

VHO - On the afternoon of August 12, at Tay Ninh Stadium (Tay Ninh province), the opening ceremony of the Toyota Cup 2025 National U9 Football Tournament took place.

This year’s tournament brings together 24 excellent U9 teams from all over the country, competing from August 12 to 25. Many strong names are participating such as T&T VSH, Viet Hung Thanh Hoa, SLNA, Gia Bao Hai Duong, CAHN, Thuan An Binh Duong … promising to bring exciting competitions.

Speaking at the ceremony, journalist Phan Viet Hung - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Thieu Nien Tien Phong and Nhi Dong Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee - emphasized: "The tournament is a useful and meaningful playground for children every summer. At the same time, it also closes an exciting summer before entering the new school year 2025-2026."

The matches were very exciting.

Right after the opening ceremony, the opening match between the home team Long An Tay Ninh and Cong An Ha Noi took place in an exciting atmosphere, offering many beautiful plays. Before that, the morning matches brought surprises: Ha Noi lost to Luxury HL Quang Ninh 2-3, Thuan An Binh Duong won Tuyen Quang 5-1.

The qualifying round will take place from August 12 to 17. After that, the top two teams in each group and the four third-place teams with the best results will qualify for the round of 16, continuing their journey to conquer the Toyota Cup 2025 championship.
