On the evening of May 29th, the stage by the Han River lit up during the dress rehearsal for the opening night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival DIFF 2026. With spectacular performances and frantic preparations before the big moment, the entire city center was heating up with the most anticipated fireworks summer of the year.

From early evening, the giant dome stage of DIFF 2026 became the focal point of the city on the Han River. With the theme “Danang - United Horizons – Connecting Horizons,” the most notable feature of the DIFF 2026 stage lies in its unprecedented mechanical system. For the first time, a massive lifting dome, over 40 meters wide and more than 10 meters high, was put into operation as the central axis of the stage.

In addition, there are five mechanical arch systems that can move independently or synchronously, creating continuously changing layers of space. The impressive operating speed, with the central arches completing their journey in less than 70 seconds, allows the stage to "transition scenes" flexibly in real time.

Nguyen Tran Trung Quan made a comeback to the DIFF stage with his performance "Riding a Horse to Heaven - A Melody of Vietnam," recreating the image of Saint Giong using modern theatrical language. Dozens of dancers and continuously moving lighting effects transformed the DIFF stage into an epic space rich in Vietnamese colors.
