The competition was lively and intense, with many events closely resembling real combat situations, requiring courage, tactical skills, and high levels of coordination. Contestants competed in individual events: shooting fixed targets during the day, concealed targets during the day, fixed targets at night; "self-affirmation," "pyramid"; pair shooting events including: "swing," coordinated combat, and nighttime defensive sniping; and team events including: command, coordinated target destruction, and target containment.

After more than two days of competition, the 2026 Sniper Shooting Competition concluded successfully, achieving its objectives and requirements. The organizing committee, the judging panel, the participating agencies and units, the officers involved in the competition, and the support staff overcame all difficulties; implemented and organized the program and plan correctly; completed all events well, and ensured absolute safety.

The comrades participating in the competition actively and diligently practiced according to the conditions of each shooting exercise. Throughout the competition, they strictly adhered to the regulations and rules, made great efforts, overcame difficulties, remained calm and confident in handling situations well, clearly demonstrating their technical and tactical skills and ability to coordinate combat operations.

In his closing remarks, Colonel Nguyen Huy Toan acknowledged and commended the positive and proactive spirit of the Organizing Committee, the Judging Panel, the support staff, and all the officers participating in the sports competition. He also requested that agencies and units build upon the results of the competition, creating new momentum and enthusiasm in carrying out training and combat readiness tasks, and building strong, comprehensive, "exemplary and outstanding" agencies and units.

The commander of the 395th Division presented certificates of commendation to the teams and individuals who achieved outstanding results in the sports competition.

At the conclusion of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded certificates of merit to 3 individuals who achieved outstanding results, including 1 first place, 1 second place, and 1 third place; and awarded 3 prizes in the doubles shooting competition, including 1 first place, 1 second place, and 1 third place. In the team competition, the 8th Regiment won first place.
