On the evening of August 18th, the Admissions Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education announced the cutoff scores for admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2024.

Accordingly, the cut-off scores for various majors increased sharply, with 3 majors scoring above 28 points, 8 majors scoring above 27 points, and many majors scoring 26 points or higher.

The cutoff scores for each major are shown in the following table:

According to regulations from the Ministry of Education and Training, after knowing the cutoff scores, successful candidates must confirm their enrollment online through the Ministry's general admissions system no later than 5 PM on August 27th. Simultaneously, candidates must go directly to universities to complete the enrollment procedures according to the timelines set by each university. From August 28th, universities with remaining vacancies will announce supplementary admissions rounds.
