Besides the thrilling matches, the atmosphere of the 2026 World Cup is further enlivened by the presence of passionate fans and dazzling female supporters in the stands. Among the female fans who have received much attention, Zoe (TikTok account @zoecolefr) has a series of videos of herself watching football that have garnered between 300,000 and 22 million views.
What makes Zoe consistently receive so many "likes" is her striking appearance with her jet-black skin, blue eyes, and athletic physique. However, the identity of this "black rose" is causing controversy due to numerous indications that she is a character created using artificial intelligence (AI).
With nearly 900,000 followers on her TikTok channel, Zoe posts videos primarily featuring herself in sportswear cheering on famous World Cup teams like Argentina, Portugal, France, and Brazil. Many netizens leave comments expressing their admiration for her unique beauty.
However, many accounts have raised concerns, warning that this is an AI product. Some users have pointed out unusual details in the face, eyes, and skin. Many frames also show characteristic signs of generative imagery, including Zoe's inconsistent eye color, sometimes gray, sometimes completely blue.

Notably, the YouTube channel linked to Zoe identifies itself as an "AI influencer." This term refers to virtual influencers created using AI technology. The account owner also repeatedly liked comments claiming Zoe is an AI character. This further strengthens the suspicion.
Zoe's popularity reflects the booming trend of AI influencers globally. Numerous studies show that AI is significantly reducing content production costs. Creators can create characters, images, and videos at a very fast pace. This makes it easier for virtual accounts to attract large amounts of engagement.
According to the BBC , AI content has repeatedly caused misunderstandings in the field of sports alone. At Euro 2024, a series of deepfake videos impersonating coach Gareth Southgate went viral on TikTok and Instagram. Some garnered millions of views before being discovered to be fake. Earlier this year, a series of videos of "hot girls" sitting in the stands watching baseball also caused a sensation in South Korea.
Previously in Vietnam, many virtual characters have also caused confusion among the online community. At the end of May, a series of photos of a "hot girl with vitiligo" checking in at Trang An (Ninh Binh) attracted more than 1.1 million views on Threads.
The person described is a foreign girl with jet-black skin and the characteristic patchy discoloration of vitiligo. Many people left comments asking for her contact information and praising her appearance.
However, users later discovered several inconsistencies. The straw hat straps changed between photos. The vitiligo patches on the hands were also inconsistent. The uploader also tagged "AI info" on some of the other content.
