Doctors advise caution when participating in physical activities, especially regarding inappropriate movements and postures. Teenagers, being hyperactive and inexperienced, often lack self-control and are prone to injuries that can lead to serious consequences such as dislocations, fractures, muscle tears, ligament ruptures, and even more severe injuries like spinal cord paralysis or traumatic brain injury.
During the summer, children need to be equipped with essential skills for play, paying attention to controlling movements, behaviors, and postures that could strongly impact vulnerable areas such as the head, face, neck, limbs, spine, and lower abdomen. Parents should teach children first aid for injuries to ensure a safe, enriching, and healthy vacation.
