Arriving at Ta Dung Top View Tourist Area (Uncle Dong's House) on the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year of the Rabbit, the atmosphere was extremely lively and bustling. Right from the beginning of National Highway 28, turning towards "Uncle Dong's House" and nearby tourist spots, a large number of visitors came to sightsee and relax. With so many visitors from all over, the ticket sellers and security guards had to work at full capacity.

According to observations by reporters from Dak Nong Newspaper, almost all homestays and farmstays in the Ta Dung Lake area are crowded with tourists during the spring season. Parking lots are full, and boats transporting tourists for sightseeing on Ta Dung Lake are always fully booked. This is because, generally speaking, tourists find a spring trip on the lake at the beginning of spring to enjoy tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Mr. Lai Van Hai, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City, said: “Every year, during Tet (Lunar New Year), my family travels to various provinces from the 2nd to the 5th day before returning home. This year, my family chose Dak Nong, home to Ta Dung, often referred to as the “Ha Long Bay of the Central Highlands.” Before going, I researched and booked accommodations in advance to experience the spring days here. It was wonderful; although it can't yet be compared to other tourist destinations nationwide, tourism in Dak Nong is unique and very interesting.”

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Dong (Uncle Dong), the tourist area opened its doors to welcome visitors from the first day of the Lunar New Year. On average, it receives more than 2,000 visitors per day, peaking at nearly 3,000 on the 2nd and 3rd days. Visitors mainly come in family groups and from provinces such as Binh Duong, Saigon, Dak Lak, Dong Nai, and Dak Nong. Due to the large number of visitors, all 49 rooms are fully booked, with reservations made in advance. Because of the high volume of visitors and lessons learned from previous years, the resort mobilized its maximum staff of 70 people and increased staff salaries by 300/100 to ensure attentive service and customer satisfaction during the New Year. Notably, to retain tourists, the establishment has maintained the same entrance fee as on normal days at 50,000 VND per person and has not increased any surcharges for accompanying services. Service prices are stable, food safety and hygiene are ensured, prices are clearly displayed, and there is no soliciting of tourists.

On average, "Ta Dung Top View (Uncle Dong's House) welcomes more than 2,000 visitors per day."

Similarly, the Dray Sap-Gia Long Waterfall Cluster Ecotourism Area in Dak Sor commune (Krong No district) was also bustling with visitors coming to sightsee and enjoy the spring festivities.

According to Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Nong province, to ensure a safe and healthy Lunar New Year holiday and the quality of services, the Department of Culture issued a document before the holiday requesting tourism businesses in the province to proactively coordinate with functional forces to strengthen measures to ensure the safety and security of property and lives of tourists and businesses. Units must also strictly comply with regulations on fire safety, allocate sufficient personnel and other conditions to serve tourists thoughtfully, and ensure food safety and hygiene. Especially at tourist attractions with rivers, lakes, waterfalls, etc., units must prepare well-equipped rescue vehicles and forces, as well as coordinate with local authorities to maintain security and order, ensuring absolute safety for tourists and people visiting and celebrating the Lunar New Year.
