Attending the ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province; leaders of Dam Rong 2 commune, along with village elders, influential people, and a large number of local residents.

The New Rice Festival is a long-standing traditional custom of the ethnic groups in the Central Highlands, expressing gratitude to Giang and the deities for granting a bountiful harvest and a prosperous life.
This is also an opportunity for villagers to celebrate together, share the fruits of their labor, and strengthen community solidarity and bonds.

The reenactment of the K'Ho ethnic group's New Rice Festival aims to preserve and promote traditional cultural values, contributing to research, collection, and education of the younger generation about ethnic identity.
At the same time, the development of culture and tourism should be linked with the preservation of local cultural characteristics and the effective exploitation of the potential and advantages of the Dam Rong 2 area.
