Strengthening propaganda for farmer members to participate in social insurance

This is one of the activities within the coordination regulations between the provincial Social Insurance and the Provincial Farmers' Association on the implementation of policies and laws on voluntary social insurance and family health insurance. According to the coordination plan, the provincial Social Insurance will organize 13 training courses, fostering professional skills, propaganda and advocacy on policies and laws on voluntary social insurance and family health insurance for 1,300 cadres and members of the Provincial Farmers' Association and communes in the province in August; it is expected to organize 4 training courses for collection staff for 600 farmer members. After the training, these farmer members will be introduced to collection service organizations in the province.

At the same time, the Provincial Social Insurance will coordinate with the Provincial Farmers' Association, commune-level farmers' associations and organize services to collect, propagate, and mobilize cadres and members to participate in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance through branch, group, association, and club meetings, organize propaganda campaigns in small groups; directly propagate at households to respond to the implementation of the policy of mobilizing people to participate in annual social insurance for all people, organize customer communication conferences, etc.

The Provincial Farmers' Association will assign propaganda targets to mobilize people to participate in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance to all levels of the association; strive to have more than 1,000 people participating in voluntary social insurance by the end of 2025; 100% of officials and farmer members participating in family health insurance. The association also introduces typical, advanced officials and members of the association, core members, good farmers in production and business, and those who are qualified to participate as collection staff for authorized service organizations to collect social insurance and health insurance operating in the area for training and fostering. At the same time, the association directs the commune-level farmers' association to coordinate monthly with the grassroots social insurance propaganda department, the Propaganda and Participant Support Department of the Provincial Social Insurance to organize propaganda conferences or integrate propaganda through training conferences, fostering, and branch activities.
