The online travel platform Agoda has announced a list of the most searched-for "emerging" (recently trending) destinations by Vietnamese travelers this summer, based on searches conducted between January 1st and April 30th, and applicable to stays between June 1st and July 31st.
Accordingly, Ly Son ( Quang Ngai ) is the domestic destination with the highest search growth. Compared to the same period last year, interest in this island has increased "exceptionally," according to Agoda's announcement on May 19th.
In addition, Ninh Binh continues to be among the top-performing destinations. Places like Trang An, Tam Coc - Bich Dong, and the ancient capital of Hoa Lu still attract tourists who enjoy combining relaxation, nature exploration, and cultural experiences.

Meanwhile, Mai Chau (Phu Tho) has unexpectedly appeared on the list of more popular destinations this year. With the advantage of being close to Hanoi, convenient transportation, and a tranquil mountainous atmosphere, it has become a familiar short-term choice for many families and groups of young people looking for a change of scenery on weekends.
Another name that has attracted attention is Mang Den (Quang Ngai) . This area is gaining interest due to its cool climate, pine forest landscape, and slow pace of life.
In addition, Tay Ninh also made the list thanks to its proximity to Ho Chi Minh City and the appeal of the Ba Den Mountain tourist area and its spiritual and ecological tourism activities.
