In late May, the atmosphere at Hung Nhan High School was one of intense revision. Students eagerly discussed their lessons, supplemented their knowledge, and sought clarification from teachers on difficult problems. Tran Anh Tu, a student in class 12A1, recently became the top scorer in the first round of the 2026 Thinking Skills Assessment Exam of Hanoi University of Science and Technology with 96.1/100 points. This impressive achievement is the result of persistent, serious, and methodical studying from the beginning of the school year. Anh Tu shared: "The closer it got to the exam, the more I focused on consolidating my foundational knowledge, as this is crucial for students to effectively handle application and advanced application questions. Besides that, I always tried to thoroughly learn the knowledge in the textbooks first, then moved on to more advanced problem types to hone my skills. During this period, I focused more on practicing with sample tests to get used to time pressure and learn from each problem."
As for Vo Duc Minh, a student in class 12A1, he is also focusing all his efforts on his goal of becoming a student at Hanoi Medical University. Besides his time in class, Minh proactively seeks out materials and practices exam questions from various sources, while also systematically reviewing his knowledge by topic to make it easier to remember. Minh said: "I allocate specific time for each subject, prioritizing areas where I'm weak to improve immediately. After each mock exam, I review my mistakes to avoid repeating them in subsequent attempts. I believe that the closer it gets to the exam, the more important it is to maintain a stable mindset and study according to a plan to achieve the best results."
This year, Hung Nhan High School has 575 12th-grade students participating in the high school graduation exam. To help students achieve the best results, the school has developed a review plan early on, classifying students according to their abilities to apply appropriate teaching methods. Subject departments are strengthening the system of key knowledge, organizing periodic assessment exams, and guiding students on exam-taking skills and time management in the exam room. For students aiming for top universities, teachers focus on supplementing advanced knowledge and honing skills in handling difficult questions. Mr. Hoang Cong Tuyen, Vice Principal of Hung Nhan High School, said: "During this period, the school is especially focused on testing and evaluation to understand the abilities of each student. Based on that, teachers will adjust the content and methods of review accordingly. In addition to consolidating knowledge, we also focus on motivating students to confidently enter the exam."

The "final push" atmosphere is also evident at Tran Thi Dung High School. In the classrooms, teachers are focusing on reviewing key knowledge, increasing practice with new exam formats to help students get used to time pressure and improve their test-taking skills. Le Thi Thanh Thao, a student in class 12A1, aims to be admitted to the Banking Academy, one of the schools with high admission scores in recent years. To realize this goal, Thao maintains a regular daily study schedule, avoids cramming, and prioritizes maintaining her health during this peak period. This year, she registered for the C03 subject combination: Mathematics, Literature, and History. She tries to balance her study time appropriately between subjects, practicing exam questions every day to improve her test-taking skills. She also pays attention to maintaining her health, getting enough sleep to be in the best possible frame of mind before the exam.
In the 2025-2026 school year, Tran Thi Dung High School will have over 490 12th-grade students. The school aims not only to help students pass their graduation exams but also to increase the percentage of students admitted to universities and colleges. According to teacher Pham Thai Cam of Tran Thi Dung High School: All subject departments have developed review plans closely following the guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Training , while also strengthening tutoring for students with knowledge gaps. Teachers focus on systematically reviewing core knowledge, regularly providing students with practice exams to hone their test-taking skills and exam-taking mindset. The school also encourages students to utilize online learning platforms for additional self-study at home.
With only a few weeks left until the 2026 high school graduation exam, the support of teachers and families, along with the determination of the students, is creating a vibrant atmosphere of preparation, aiming for the highest possible results.
