Together with the investor, local authorities, and construction units, they are accelerating progress and striving to complete the embankment projects in Tay Ninh province according to the set objectives.

The project to prevent erosion along the Vam Co Tay River, in the Da Han Bay area, is expected to be completed two months ahead of schedule.

The project to prevent erosion along the Vam Co Tay River, in the Da Han Bay area ( Long An ward), has a total investment of nearly 180 billion VND from the central government budget, the provincial budget, and other legal sources. Currently, the contractor is focusing on coordinating and resolving arising issues at the construction site and "racing against time" to ensure the project is completed on schedule.

According to Mr. Le Van Phuong, representative of the construction unit for the project to prevent and mitigate erosion along the Vam Co Tay River in the Da Han Bay area, the unit is currently requiring workers to focus on work, work overtime, and accelerate the project's progress. "Every day, we deploy nearly 20 workers, and the progress has reached over 90% of the contract volume. Some tasks are in the final stages of completion, and we expect to be two months ahead of schedule," said Mr. Le Van Phuong.

At the Vam Co Dong River embankment project to prevent erosion and saltwater intrusion (Ben Luc commune), the investor, along with the local authorities and the construction contractor, are urgently carrying out the final tasks and stages to complete the project and hand it over for use.

Pham Van Quang, representative of the construction unit for the Vam Co Dong River embankment project to prevent erosion and saltwater intrusion, said: "To speed up the project's progress, we are increasing equipment and manpower every day. The final tasks are being carried out urgently. The goal is to complete the project about two months ahead of schedule."

Embankment projects are being accelerated to reach completion.

It is known that the Vam Co Dong River embankment project to prevent erosion and saltwater intrusion has a total investment of approximately 350 billion VND from the central and local budgets and other legal sources of capital. Upon completion, the project will contribute to preventing riverbank erosion, protecting architectural, cultural, and infrastructure works along the river; proactively responding to climate change and sea level rise for residential areas; preventing and combating saltwater intrusion; protecting residents and production, avoiding damage to property and loss of life caused by riverbank erosion;...

According to information from the Long An Investment and Construction Project Management Board, currently, 11 embankment projects are being implemented in the province with a planned capital allocation of nearly 250 billion VND for 2025. By the beginning of July 2025, the projects had disbursed over 50% of the planned capital, and by the end of the year, 100% of the planned capital will be disbursed.

The embankment projects are being closely coordinated by the local authorities, relevant units, and contractors to resolve arising obstacles and accelerate completion. Upon completion, these projects will not only contribute to disaster prevention and mitigation, climate change adaptation, and riverbank erosion control, protecting the lives and property of the people, but also upgrade infrastructure and beautify the urban landscape.
