Based on the ChatGPT platform, the startup group Tesse (with an office in Phu Nhuan district, Ho Chi Minh City) has successfully developed the VoiceGPT platform, which is free to use, helping users communicate with AI by voice to support people who do not have the conditions to type text.
The startup's programming team has designed a website that allows users to create a VoiceGPT account online using an email and a phone number in Vietnam, which can be used on computers and smartphones. When users write a question, VoiceGPT's server system will forward this data to ChatGPT's server and when ChatGPT's server responds, the data is sent back to VoiceGPT to provide the answer to the user.
Currently, VoiceGPT has about 70,000 registered users after more than 1 month of launching, but there are still limitations when this startup group has to pay the provider based on the number of words (each day, an account can ask 40 questions, a maximum of 20 questions per hour). According to Mr. Nguyen Pham Tuan Anh, founder of Tesse, with the desire to have a ChatGPT product for Vietnamese people, the group contacted OpenAI, the developer of the ChatGPT product, to propose developing this application in Vietnam and was approved, so they created VoiceGPT.
