In order to promote administrative reform and help taxpayers overcome difficulties and obstacles in implementing tax policies, on November 26, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Tax Department organized a tax policy training conference and dialogue with taxpayers in the fourth quarter of 2024. Attending the training conference were directors and accountants of more than 400 units and enterprises registered to declare and pay taxes at the Provincial Tax Department office.
Conference overview.
At the conference, the Provincial Tax Department deployed and disseminated new points related to the Land Law No. 31/2024/QH15, dated January 18, 2024 of the National Assembly and guiding documents for implementation, effective from August 1, 2024. Policies to remove difficulties of the National Assembly and the Government on taxes, tax payment extension; exemption of late payment fees; exemption of administrative penalties for tax management violations; deduction of input value-added tax; deductible expenses when calculating corporate income tax, reduction of special consumption tax; exemption and reduction of resource tax; exemption and reduction of non -agricultural land use tax; exemption, reduction and extension of tax for business households and individuals.
Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa Tax Department Mai Dinh Tu delivered the opening speech at the training conference.
The Thanh Hoa Provincial Tax Department also discussed and disseminated information related to the use of information technology by tax authorities to analyze data, warn of risks in using electronic invoices, known as the method of applying coefficient K, and disseminated new points about electronic transactions; introduced the upgraded version of the etax mobile application.
Mr. Mai Tien Dung, Head of the Department of Management of Individual Business Households and Other Revenues, deployed and disseminated new points related to the Land Law No. 31/2024/QH15 and its implementing guidelines, effective from August 1, 2024.
At the conference, the tax authority also organized a direct dialogue with taxpayers to listen to and answer difficulties, problems, and issues related to tax administrative procedures of businesses and taxpayers.
Through the training conference, businesses and taxpayers have better understood the regulations when declaring and paying taxes and implementing new tax policies and accounting regimes for businesses, contributing to the Tax authority in completing assigned tasks.
