According to Mr. Tho, the Department of Education and Training has asked the school to report, through which the school has extracted the camera and confirmed that the beating of students occurred, so it is coordinating with the People's Committee of Tan An ward to specifically inspect.
"If it is determined that there was a beating of a student, we will draw up an administrative violation report and report to the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City to handle the next steps," Mr. Tho informed.
According to initial information, the incident happened on May 9 during a Geography test for 8th graders. Teacher NTX (Literature teacher) was assigned to proctor a class.
During the test, Ms. X. discovered that this student had signs of using documents, so she went up and slapped him twice in the face.
Afterwards, this student told the incident to her parents and the family filed a complaint, asking the school to clarify Ms. X's act of beating the student.
"The school asked this teacher to come to the student's house to apologize, but Ms. X. did not admit it," said a leader of Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Secondary School.
