Techfest 2025: Spreading the spirit of innovation nationwide.

Taking place from December 12-14 in Hanoi, Techfest 2025, themed "National Innovation Entrepreneurship - A New Driving Force for Growth," affirms the determination to mobilize the strength of the entire society and make innovation a key driver for economic growth in the new era.

The event was organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Technology in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee, and implemented directly by the Department of Startups and Technology Enterprises and the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology, along with several related units.

With an expected attendance of 50,000-60,000 people, Techfest 2025 will become a gathering point for the entire innovation ecosystem: from representatives of central and local government agencies and ministries; diplomatic agencies, international organizations; leaders of corporations, research institutes, and universities; to investment funds, investors, mentors, and the startup business community.

The event also attracted speakers and technology-innovation experts from both domestic and international backgrounds, along with the support of the press and media, creating a prestigious forum for connecting, sharing, and promoting new breakthroughs in Vietnam's startup ecosystem.

According to the Organizing Committee, in the context of Vietnam's accelerated implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the development of science, technology and innovation, aiming towards the national goal of nationwide entrepreneurship and innovation, Techfest 2025 is positioned as a new turning point, becoming a community innovation festival.

From a specialized event, Techfest 2025 has expanded into a public space where everyone can access knowledge, technology, and the entrepreneurial spirit. The most outstanding highlight this year is holding Techfest 2025 right in Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square - the heart of the capital city.

Bringing technology into open spaces not only breaks down the boundaries between the auditorium and everyday life, but also creates opportunities for people to directly experience the latest achievements such as AI, IoT, Metaverse, AgriTech… Through this, the spirit of innovation is widely disseminated, becoming a driving force for the community, not just for the startup ecosystem.

Techfest 2025 aims to create multi-layered connections – between leaders, investors, businesses, startups, experts, and international organizations – to form a collaborative network for sustainable development. At the same time, the event affirms Hanoi's position as the national innovation center, a hub of knowledge, culture, and technology. Mobilizing the creativity of the entire population, promoting technology commercialization, and developing new products clearly demonstrates the commitment to "leaving no one behind" in the journey into the era of technology and knowledge.

Techfest Vietnam 2025 will feature many activities, including:

Pre-event activities: Investment networking; National Innovation Startup Talent Search Competition (Qualifying and Semi-final rounds); Exchanges, seminars, and search for international experts to participate in the event.

Activities at the event include: Techfest Vietnam 2025 Opening Ceremony; National Policy Forum on International Cooperation in Investment and Innovation Startups; National Innovation Startup Talent Search Competition (Final Round). In addition, there will be thematic workshops: Workshop on International Cooperation in Human Resource Training Based on Technology; Workshop on Local Economic and Social Development Policies through Innovation Startups; Workshop on Open Innovation and Promoting Nationwide Innovation Startups; Workshop on Connecting High-Tech Agricultural Application Zones to Develop Local Innovation Startups…

Specifically, Techfest 2025 also includes side activities such as: AI startup seminar with investors; ESG startup and industrial park seminar; AI training startup seminar for the public; Green education seminar: from classroom to practice…

The highlight of Techfest 2025 is the exhibition and display areas, which are arranged into four zones:

Zone 1 features booths of leading businesses that play a guiding and supportive role in the innovative startup ecosystem.

Zone 2: Technology demonstration booths showcasing typical Vietnamese technologies linked to strategic technology categories, attracting people to visit, interact, and experience technology products created and owned by Vietnamese people. This aims to build trust and inspire people about creative entrepreneurship and the future development of the country based on science, technology, and innovation.

Zone 3: Booths showcasing new technology products with the message: Open Innovation - Green Growth - Digital Transformation - Commercialization and Collaborative Connection.

Zone 4: Booths from 34 provinces/cities - Proud of Vietnamese technology with the message of local innovation - Sustainable development - Nationwide entrepreneurship.

Techfest 2025 promises to provide a comprehensive overview of Vietnam's innovation landscape, while also opening up numerous opportunities for collaboration, investment, and development for the domestic and international startup community.
