The event was organized under the chairmanship of the Ministry of Science and Technology in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee, directly implemented by the Agency for Startups and Technology Enterprises and the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology along with a number of related units.
With an expected attendance of 50,000-60,000 people, Techfest 2025 will become a gathering point for the entire innovation ecosystem: from representatives of central and local departments, ministries and branches; diplomatic agencies, international organizations; leaders of corporations, research institutes, universities; to investment funds, investors, consultants and the startup business community.
The event also attracted speakers, domestic and international technology and innovation experts, along with the support of the press and media, creating a prestigious forum to connect, share and promote new breakthroughs in the Vietnamese startup ecosystem.
According to the Organizing Committee, in the context of Vietnam promoting the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the development of science, technology and innovation, towards the goal of national start-up and innovation for all people, Techfest 2025 is positioned as a new turning point, becoming a community innovation festival.
From a specialized event, Techfest 2025 has expanded into a public space where everyone can access knowledge, technology and entrepreneurial spirit. The most prominent highlight this year is the organization of Techfest 2025 right at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square - the heart of the Capital.
Bringing technology into open space not only breaks the boundary between the hall and life, but also creates opportunities for people to directly experience the latest achievements such as AI, IoT, Metaverse, AgriTech... Thereby, the spirit of innovation is widely spread, becoming a driving force for the community, not just the startup ecosystem.
Techfest 2025 aims at multi-level connectivity - between leaders, investors, businesses, startups, experts and international organizations to form a network of companions for sustainable development. At the same time, the event affirms Hanoi's position as a national innovation center, a place where knowledge, culture and technology values converge. Mobilizing the creativity of the entire population, promoting technology commercialization and developing new products clearly demonstrates the commitment to "leaving no one behind" in the journey into the era of technology and knowledge.
Techfest Vietnam 2025 takes place with many activities including:
Pre-event activities: Investment connection; National Innovation and Startup Talent Search Competition (Qualifying round and Semi-final); Exchange, discussion, search for international experts to participate in the event.
Event activities: Opening Ceremony of Techfest Vietnam 2025; National policy forum, international cooperation on investment in innovative startups; National innovation startup talent search contest (Final round). In addition, there are specialized seminars: International cooperation seminar on training human resources based on technology platforms; Seminar on policies for local economic and social development through innovative startups; Social open innovation seminar, promoting innovative startups for all people; Seminar on connecting high-tech agricultural application zones to develop local innovative startups...
In particular, within the framework of Techfest 2025, there will also be sideline activities such as: AI startup discussion with investors; ESG startup and industrial park discussion; AI training startup discussion for people; Green education discussion: from the classroom to practice...
The highlight of Techfest 2025 is the display and exhibition booths arranged in 4 zones:
Zone 1 is a booth of typical businesses that play a leading role and accompany the creative startup ecosystem.
Zone 2: Technology demonstration booth directly demonstrates typical Vietnamese technologies associated with the strategic technology portfolio, attracting people to visit, interact, and experience technology products created and owned by Vietnamese people, thereby creating trust and inspiring people about creative startups, about the future development of the country based on science, technology and innovation.
Zone 3: Booths introducing new technology products with the message of Open Innovation - Green Growth - Digital Transformation - Commercialization and Cooperation Connection.
Zone 4: Booths of 34 provinces/cities - Proud of Vietnamese technology with the message of local innovation - Sustainable development - National entrepreneurship.
