TECNO launches CAMON 40 smartphone duo in Vietnam

Depending on your preferences or shooting conditions, the FlashSnap feature can be used by double-clicking the physical button. Or in FlashSnap AI (artificial intelligence) mode - the system is capable of recognizing specific moments and actions and taking photos automatically without the user having to do anything.

To do this, TECNO said it has equipped the CAMON 40 and 40 Pro with a high-speed shutter system of 0.089 ms/0.082 ms, 2,600 times faster than the human eye blink rate to capture movement, ensuring images have no delay. Integrated with the Best Moment algorithm and AI Raw data, allowing storage of up to 20 photos/one press and hold, then recognizing the most beautiful movement and automatically restoring, enhancing skin tones harmoniously and naturally even in low-light and backlit conditions.

Both products have a 50 MP main camera system, equipped with a Sony LYT-700C image sensor, 1/1.56 inch size and f/1.8 aperture, with OIS optical anti-shake support. The device is also equipped with Super Night Mode combined with AI technology to reduce noise to help photos not be broken, maintaining authenticity when shooting at night. The 8 MP wide-angle camera is suitable for large group photos or landscape photos, equipped with face optimization technology, AI anti-distortion and autofocus (AF). The selfie camera has a resolution of 32 MP with natural beauty features for the face.

In terms of design, the screens of both devices are equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel, 120 Hz refresh rate, Full HD + resolution 1,080 x 2,436, neat screen borders, screen-to-body ratio announced by the company is 94%, creating a spacious display space.

In terms of configuration, CAMON 40 and CAMON 40 Pro are both equipped with the MediaTek G100 Ultimate processor, promising to provide sufficient performance for entertainment, learning and daily work tasks. The device integrates an eSports Pro cooling system cooled by copper pipes, which is announced to achieve a thermal conductivity of up to 1,800 W. Energy is provided by a 5,200 mAh battery, supporting 45W fast charging and has a durability of more than 1,800 charging cycles according to TENO. The AI ​​system optimizes charging, helping to maintain up to 80% battery capacity after 5 years of use.

In addition, the CAMON 40 Pro screen uses Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, which contributes to enhanced protection, anti-drop and scratch resistance even when dropped from a height of 1.5 meters. In particular, the CAMON 40 Pro version is water and dust resistant up to IP68/IP69, while the CAMON 40 is IP66. TECNO claims that this duo also has a 5-star anti-drop certification from SGS (Switzerland) and has a reinforced architecture on the 4 corners of the screen, providing peace of mind during use.

In the Vietnamese market, CAMON 40 Pro and CAMON 40 are being offered with starting prices of VND 6.99 million and VND 5.99 million.
