Depending on your preference or shooting conditions, the FlashSnap feature can be used by double-tapping the physical button. Alternatively, in FlashSnap AI mode, the system can recognize specific moments and actions and automatically capture a photo without user intervention.
To achieve this, TECNO states that it has equipped the CAMON 40 and 40 Pro with a high-speed shutter system of 0.089 ms/0.082 ms, 2,600 times faster than the human blink speed, to capture movement and ensure lag-free images. Integrated with the Best Moment algorithm and AI Raw data, it allows for storing up to 20 images per press-and-hold shutter, then identifies the best motion and automatically restores and enhances skin tones harmoniously and naturally, even in low-light or backlit conditions.
Both products feature a 50MP main camera system, equipped with a Sony LYT-700C image sensor, 1/1.56-inch size, and f/1.8 aperture, with optical image stabilization (OIS). They also include a Super Night Mode combined with AI technology to reduce noise, ensuring sharp images and maintaining realism in night shots. The 8MP wide-angle camera is suitable for group photos or landscape shots, featuring face optimization, AI distortion reduction, and autofocus (AF). The selfie camera has a 32MP resolution with natural beauty enhancement features.

In terms of design, both devices feature 6.78-inch AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate, Full HD+ 1080 x 2436 resolution, slim bezels, and a screen-to-body ratio of 94%, according to the manufacturer, creating a spacious viewing area.
In terms of specifications, both the CAMON 40 and CAMON 40 Pro are equipped with the MediaTek G100 Ultimate processor, promising sufficient performance for everyday entertainment, learning, and work tasks. The devices integrate the eSports Pro cooling system with copper pipes, boasting a heat dissipation capacity of up to 1800W. Power is provided by a 5200 mAh battery, supporting 45W fast charging and boasting a TENO durability of over 1800 charging cycles. An AI-optimized charging system helps maintain up to 80% battery capacity after 5 years of use.
Furthermore, the CAMON 40 Pro's screen uses Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, contributing to enhanced protection against drops and scratches even from a height of 1.5 meters. Notably, the CAMON 40 Pro version has a water and dust resistance rating of IP68/IP69, while the CAMON 40 is IP66. TECNO claims that both models have also achieved a 5-star drop resistance rating from SGS (Switzerland) and feature a reinforced screen at all four corners, providing peace of mind during use.
In the Vietnamese market, the CAMON 40 Pro and CAMON 40 are being offered at starting prices of VND 6.99 million and VND 5.99 million respectively.
