Taking care of Tet preparations for each family.
Despite the cold weather and drizzling rain of late winter, the staff and employees of Hoang Gia International Joint Stock Company still felt warm thanks to the company's care. To ensure a more thoughtful, complete, and fulfilling Tet (Lunar New Year) celebration for its staff and employees, the company organized a "Tet Reunion - Spring Gratitude to the Party" program from the beginning of December in the lunar calendar, distributing 351 gift packages, each worth 500,000 VND, including rice, vermicelli, cooking oil, etc. Simultaneously, they held a year-end party, a raffle with prizes, and gifts for workers in difficult circumstances. It is known that for the 2026 Lunar New Year, each staff member and employee of the company will receive a Tet bonus equivalent to 1.5 months' salary, averaging 15 million VND per person.

Ms. Tran Thi Thu Ha, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Hoang Gia International Joint Stock Company, said: "The 'Tet Reunion - Spring Gratitude to the Party' program is an annual activity organized by the Company to encourage cadres, employees, and workers who have strived, overcome difficulties, and made positive contributions to the Company's business activities over the past year. At the same time, it demonstrates the care and concern of all levels, bringing each family a fulfilling Tet holiday. Thanks to the collective efforts and contributions of cadres, workers, and employees, the Company exceeded its business targets in 2025. Therefore, the Tet bonus this year also increased by an average of 5 million VND compared to last year."
According to the Department of Internal Affairs, not only Hoang Gia International Joint Stock Company, but generally, businesses in the province maintain salaries and incomes that are higher than the regional minimum wage as stipulated. The expected bonus for employees during the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 is basically guaranteed to be equivalent to or higher than the bonus for the Lunar New Year of 2025. Specifically, according to data reported by 2,269 units and businesses, the average salary of employees in 2025 reached approximately 12.72 million VND/person/month (112.8% compared to 2024). For the Lunar New Year of the Horse, businesses are expected to pay an average bonus of approximately 9 million VND/person (112.5% compared to 2025).
Based on the type of enterprise, state-owned enterprises and enterprises with state-owned shares or capital contributions are expected to receive an average Tet bonus of 11 million VND per person in 2026. For private enterprises, the average Tet bonus is expected to be 5.52 million VND per person. In parallel, programs such as "Tet Reunion," "Trade Union Year-End Dinner," and "Tet Not Away From Home" will be organized at many agencies, units, and businesses in the province with the motto "All union members and workers will have a happy Tet" to take care of union members and workers during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Horse.

With the motto of ensuring no one is left behind, Quang Ninh province always pays special attention to policy beneficiaries, especially during the Lunar New Year. For the first time, the province has issued Resolution No. 83/2025/NQ-HĐND dated November 14, 2025, of the Provincial People's Council, stipulating the giving of gifts to social policy beneficiaries and some other groups during the Lunar New Year every year in the province from 2026 to 2030.
According to the Resolution, there are 18 groups of beneficiaries, including: Labor Heroes during the đổi mới (renovation) period; households with military personnel serving in particularly difficult areas, the Trường Sa archipelago, and the DK1 platform; Party members with 60 years or more of Party membership; people aged 70 and above; and people receiving disability benefits… The gift amount ranges from 300,000 VND to 2 million VND per person. It is expected that each year, over 169,000 individuals and units throughout the province will benefit, with a total budget of approximately 69.2 billion VND from the provincial budget. This policy demonstrates the province's concern and care, contributing to motivating and encouraging policy beneficiaries, bringing each family a peaceful and warm Tet holiday, and ensuring social security. Currently, the Department of Finance is advising the Provincial People's Committee to issue a decision allocating funds to wards, communes, and special zones to carry out gift-giving to eligible individuals in the area.
Previously, Quang Ninh province had urgently distributed gifts to people who rendered meritorious services to the revolution, social welfare beneficiaries, social pensioners, and other vulnerable groups to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, with an amount of 400,000 VND per person, in accordance with Resolution No. 418/NQ-CP dated December 28, 2025 of the Government . The gift distribution was completed ahead of schedule, before December 31, 2025, with a total budget of nearly 24.3 billion VND. This gift brought even more joy to everyone.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tinh (Tay Son 2 area, Cua Ong ward) happily shared: "During my time participating in the resistance war, I was affected by Agent Orange and bear the scars of war. Over the years, we have always received profound care from the Party, the State, and the province. Therefore, every month, I receive a subsidy that ensures I can cover my living expenses. I am even happier to receive a gift for the first time on the morning of December 31, 2026, to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party and the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, right from the morning of December 31, 2026, through my bank account."

In the spirit of "mutual support and compassion," many activities caring for policy beneficiaries have been actively carried out by agencies, units, organizations, businesses, and philanthropists. For example, recently, the Trade Union of the Social Policy Bank organized visits and presented 45 Tet gifts to disadvantaged families in Ky Thuong and Ba Che communes. Each gift, worth 2 million VND, included cash and essential goods. This program is an annual event with profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the social responsibility and spirit of sharing of the leadership, staff, and members. The bank provides support to disadvantaged households, especially during the Lunar New Year season, so that every family can have a peaceful, fulfilling, and warm holiday.
For patients undergoing treatment at hospitals, the most cherished aspect of Tet (Lunar New Year) is a warm and joyful celebration. To share this spirit with patients, Bai Chay Hospital recently organized the "Spring of Love - Tet of Compassion" program, featuring meaningful activities to care for patients in difficult circumstances receiving treatment at the hospital. With the joint efforts of Bai Chay Hospital staff, union members, and charitable organizations, 16 "Zero-Cost Stalls" were set up, providing items such as confectionery, rice, milk, personal care supplies, and many meaningful Tet gifts for patients. Within the framework of the program, Bai Chay Hospital and benefactors also donated 60 Tet gift packages worth a total of 60 million VND to patients with particularly difficult circumstances receiving inpatient treatment. This practical activity spreads the spirit of sharing and love, helping patients gain more confidence and strength during their treatment, especially as Tet approaches.
Ms. To Thi Thin, from Thong Nhat village, Tien Yen commune, said: "I have been receiving treatment at Bai Chay Hospital for many years, so my economic situation is difficult. Thanks to the care of the hospital and benefactors, I have received many meaningful gifts. These material gifts help make Tet more fulfilling, warm, and happy. At the same time, This is a great source of encouragement that gives me and other patients more strength and confidence to continue our treatment.
