Early in the morning of February 15th (the 28th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Snake), upon arriving at the T67 Guest House (Headquarters of Military Region 7), we witnessed officers and staff busily tidying up the barracks, adding a touch of spring. Party flags and national flags were proudly displayed; the reception area, rest rooms, and dining hall were cleaned and fresh flowers were replaced. A small landscaped area with yellow apricot blossoms, green sticky rice cakes, and red watermelons was set up in the main hall, creating a warm and inviting space for guests to take commemorative photos.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Nghia, Head of the T67 Guest House, shared: “Given the unique nature of our service unit, we recognize that we must be even more attentive during Tet (Lunar New Year). The joy of our officers, soldiers, and staff is the satisfaction of our guests.”
The unit organized its Tet holiday duties according to the "three readiness" model: readiness of facilities, readiness of personnel, and readiness of contingency plans. The entire accommodation system was inspected and maintained, including electricity and water supply; the Tet menu was developed flexibly, preserving traditional flavors while ensuring nutritional standards and food safety.

The unit maintains a continuous on-call system. The T67 passenger station implements a "24/7 service during Tet" model, assigning shifts in a reasonable rotation to ensure that each officer and employee has time to celebrate New Year's Eve and wish their families a happy new year without affecting overall duties.
Accordingly, the workforce is divided into teams: Reception and housekeeping team; kitchen and catering team; and technical team. Each team has a shift leader who is fully responsible during their shift. All teams sign a commitment to adhere to the "four rights": Punctuality, adherence to procedures, proper etiquette and conduct, and adherence to service standards.

Major Duong Thi Thuy, head of the reception department, said: “In the early days of the Lunar New Year, guests are mainly officers on sudden business trips or military families visiting the unit, foreign guests, or overseas Vietnamese returning home. We must always maintain a warm and attentive attitude, as if welcoming relatives home. When we receive notification of guests arriving, we are always ready at our positions, ensuring timely, attentive, and safe service.”
Observing the reception areas, we witnessed every small detail: from preparing red envelopes bearing the unit's logo to congratulate guests on the new year, to arranging flexible meal services for late arrivals. All activities were recorded and reported daily, ensuring transparency and preventing any errors.

Tet at the T67 Guest House is always lively. After finishing serving meals to guests, the entire unit gathers to wrap banh chung and banh tet (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes) and organize cultural and artistic activities, read books and newspapers, and play folk games, creating a vibrant and joyful atmosphere.
Corporal Nguyen Quang Truong, from Cam Ly ward ( Lam Dong province), confided: “This is the first year I've celebrated Tet away from home. At first, I felt a little sad, but when I witnessed the officers being so close and caring towards the soldiers, treating them like family, I clearly felt the warmth and pride of contributing my small part to fulfilling the unit's mission.”

Prioritizing safety, the unit's Party committee and commanders proactively implemented strict fire prevention and control measures, as well as maintaining security and order. The camera system was regularly inspected; the duty officer maintained uninterrupted communication. Springtime activities such as democratic flower picking, room decoration competitions, and cultural exchanges were organized efficiently, economically, and in accordance with regulations.
A highlight of this year's Tet holiday service is the implementation of an "Electronic Feedback Book." Guests can provide direct feedback on the quality of accommodation, meals, and service attitude. All feedback is compiled and lessons learned on the same day.

Ms. Le Thi Hien, an overseas Vietnamese residing in the US, who stayed at the guesthouse during Tet (Lunar New Year), said: "I have traveled to many places, but rarely have I found an establishment that maintains such order and thoughtfulness as this one. From the hot cup of tea in the morning to the sincere and warm New Year greetings, it warmed my heart."
The proactive approach to receiving feedback from tourists is the driving force behind the continuous innovation of the staff at T67 Guest House. The unit has developed a plan to "Improve service quality through cleanliness, attentive care, and dedication, tailored to the unit's specific characteristics."

Captain Nguyen Khanh Duy, Deputy Head of the T67 Guest House, said: “For us, Tet is not just about family reunions, but also about being on duty and ready for combat, and about the quiet, unassuming work of serving behind the scenes. Every officer, soldier, and staff member has been thoroughly briefed on the requirements of their mission. We welcome the New Year with smiles, dedication, and a spirit of service that comes from the heart of each officer, soldier, and staff member. To ensure effectiveness, we promptly commend our officers and soldiers daily, creating a ripple effect.”

The apricot blossoms in front of the station began to fall sporadically in the spring sunshine, and the station welcomed another group of visitors. Work was always well-organized. Amidst the vibrant spring colors, the image of the quiet, dedicated logistics soldier became even more meaningful.
The Lunar New Year celebrations were joyful, but never a moment passed without fulfilling our duties; the warmth of camaraderie and the bond between soldiers and civilians were palpable, and discipline was always upheld. That is the Tet holiday at Guest House T67, a Tet of responsibility, creativity, and the belief in successfully completing our mission in 2026.
