THACO is transforming and breaking through to greater heights in 2025.

THACO's Chairman of the Board, Mr. Tran Ba ​​Duong, recently delivered a message for 2025 to all employees on the occasion of the Lunar New Year's opening ceremony, affirming that 2025 is the third and pivotal year of the five-year plan to become a multi-industry corporation of regional stature by the end of 2027, fully integrated into the international economy with comprehensive digital-based management and stable, sustainable development.

Accordingly, the member corporations of THACO must achieve the following objectives in sequence:

THACO AUTO aims for sales of over 100,000 vehicles , focusing on high-value products to achieve revenue of VND 80,847 billion and exporting over 4,000 vehicles generating more than USD 35 million . Revenue from spare parts and services is projected to exceed VND 5,400 billion. The company plans to invest in and operate a new automotive R&D center with modern equipment to enhance research and development capabilities for next-generation automobiles, aligning with current trends and meeting the specific needs of customers. It also plans to develop and launch 29 new products and operate three showroom complexes. Total disbursed investment costs amount to VND 3,778 billion. By 2025, THACO AUTO plans to recruit 330 new employees, bringing the total workforce to 14,864.

THACO AUTO inaugurated the production line at its THACO Bus factory and launched new products under the THACO Bus and THACO Truck brands.

In the agricultural sector, THACO AGRI Group has invested in planting over 10,000 hectares of bananas, with a fresh banana export volume exceeding 270,000 tons ; a total cattle herd of over 250,000 head ; planting over 4,000 hectares of various fruit trees (durian, mango, pomelo, etc.); a total pig herd of over 190,000 head ; and investing in and commencing construction of industrial parks with factories scheduled for 2025: agricultural supplies, fertilizers, fruit processing, and cold storage facilities at the Snuol, Koun Mom (Cambodia), Attapeu (Laos), and Gia Lai (Central Highlands) agricultural complexes. THACO AGRI's consolidated revenue is estimated at over 8,340 billion VND . Total disbursed investment costs amount to 7,550 billion VND . 22,984 new employees were hired, bringing the total number of employees to 44,609.

In the field of Mechanical Engineering and Supporting Industries, THACO INDUSTRIES , a member group, achieved significant success last year, with semi-trailer exports to the US market expected to continue generating revenue exceeding VND 14,400 billion, and export revenue reaching USD 225 million, focusing on North America, Australia, and Europe. Total disbursed investment costs amounted to VND 2,050 billion. 1,240 new employees were recruited, bringing the total workforce to 9,567 . Simultaneously, in 2025, this member group must effectively operate its overseas investment companies (in the US and South Korea); increase production efficiency, and boost domestic and international business development. It will continue to invest in and upgrade technology to develop new products and expand production scale. It will invest in expanding the specialized equipment factory and invest in and put into operation new passenger car seat factories. New passenger car interior factory; Automotive interior and exterior component manufacturing plant in the North. Continue implementing the investment project for a mechanical engineering and supporting industries industrial park in the South, with construction scheduled to begin in early 2026.

In the Investment and Construction sector, THADICO ( DAI QUANG MINH ) Group will commence 32 projects and complete 16 projects to meet production and business requirements, creating a competitive advantage for the Group and THACO. This includes the commencement of 12 projects for THISO's shopping mall system; the completion of upgrades and transformations for 20 projects and the commencement of 11 new investment projects for THACO AUTO; the completion of 9 factory/center/office projects ; investment in industrial park projects in the South for THACO INDUSTRIES; and continued implementation of industrial park projects and the Cua Lo waterway in Chu Lai. Simultaneously, the commencement of component projects in the Sala urban area and 3 other real estate projects in Ho Chi Minh City will also take place. By 2025, the total disbursed investment cost will be 4,800 billion VND . 292 new employees were hired, bringing the total number of employees to 2,548.

Following the success of the Emart hypermarket chain and Thiskyhall shopping mall, THISO Group continues to implement construction projects for the Thiso Tay Ho Tay shopping mall complex in Hanoi; Thiso Binh Duong, Thiso Bien Hoa - Dong Nai, and Thiso in the Mekong Delta, with plans to launch them in 2026. In addition, they will complete the operation of the second Thiskyhall branch at the Thiso Truong Chinh - Phan Huy Ich shopping mall (Ho Chi Minh City) and three F&B models with their own brands developed by THISO. This Group's total revenue in 2025 is projected at VND 6,812 billion . Total disbursed investment costs are VND 4,527 billion. They will recruit 883 employees, bringing the total workforce to 2,968.

In the field of freight forwarding, THILOGI is implementing a strategy to invest in and develop a multi-purpose, specialized international container logistics center in Chu Lai, Quang Nam. This includes road connections between Northern Cambodia, Southern Laos, the Central Highlands, Quang Nam, and surrounding areas to Chu Lai International Port. The plan is to complete the existing channel to accommodate 30,000-ton vessels by 2025 and invest in the Cua Lo channel to accommodate vessels over 50,000 tons by 2028. The company will operate international shipping routes from Chu Lai to Xiamen and Shanghai (China), connecting to ports in North China, South Korea, Japan, Europe, and the United States, and vice versa. THILOGI continues to invest in handling equipment and transportation vehicles, including 3 RTG cranes at the container yard and 200 tractor trucks and SMRMs for Indochina Intermodal Transport Company to serve the transportation needs of THACO and external customers. Focus resources on implementing the investment project for two container ships with a capacity of 1,800 TEU/ship , with a total investment of nearly 3,000 billion VND , expected to be put into operation from Q1/2026. Total cargo throughput at Chu Lai port is estimated at 5.5 million tons . THILOGI's consolidated revenue reached nearly 5,400 billion VND . Total disbursed investment costs amounted to 1,500 billion VND . In 2025, THILOGI recruited 370 personnel, bringing the total number of employees to 1,884.

In addition to the goals set for its member corporations, the Chairman of THACO, in the presence of the Quang Nam Provincial Leaders at the Launch Ceremony, affirmed that the company will continue to invest in forming a new generation multi-industry industrial ecosystem in Chu Lai - Quang Nam based on industrial management, green, smart, modern, and sustainable development; including centers for: Automobile manufacturing and assembly; Mechanical engineering and supporting industries; Logistics and transportation; Agricultural and forestry processing; Trade and services; and an urban area with complete facilities and essential social infrastructure services. The development of THACO Chu Lai plays a crucial role in realizing the Quang Nam Provincial Planning until 2030. In 2025, THACO will focus on implementing infrastructure projects, industrial parks, and urban areas, ensuring strict adherence to legal procedures during implementation with the following projected progress: Expanded Mechanical and Automotive Industrial Park Project (115 hectares); THACO Chu Lai Industrial Park Project (451 hectares). Dredging the Ky Ha Channel to a depth of -9.3m : Currently, THACO is carrying out dredging work on the Ky Ha Channel according to the plan approved by the competent State agency, and will complete construction and put it into operation in Q2/2025. The Luong Cua Lo Project, Chu Lai Urban Area Project – Phase 1 (195 hectares) : focusing on researching investment orientation and completing the capacity and experience profile to participate in the bidding process to select an investor in December, as a basis for project commencement in 2026.

Total investment capital disbursed in Chu Lai in 2025 is 3,594 billion VND . Total tax revenue in Quang Nam province is nearly 22,000 billion VND , an increase of 20% compared to 2024. 1,668 new employees will be recruited, bringing the total number of THACO employees in Chu Lai to 15,520.

The Chairman of THACO also emphasized: 2025 is not only a year to accelerate the implementation of production and business plan targets, but also a year marking an important step in perfecting, upgrading, and consolidating governance in line with the production and business operating model according to the strategy set out, along with the digital transformation plan across THACO. This is a crucial time for THACO to transform, break through, and rise, continuing to affirm its pioneering position and making practical contributions to the economic development of the locality and the country in the era of Vietnam's progress.
