The Gac Ma Soldier Memorial is located in the middle of the coastal road from Cam Ranh International Airport towards Nha Trang City. During these days of March, this place attracts many visitors.

The Gac Ma Soldier Memorial Area was built on an area of over 25,000 square meters, on the east side of Nguyen Tat Thanh Avenue, in Cam Hai Dong Commune, Cam Lam District, to commemorate the 64 Vietnamese naval soldiers who heroically sacrificed their lives on March 14, 1988, protecting the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland's sea and islands.

According to the Gac Ma Soldiers Memorial Management Board, in 2023, there were more than 440 delegations with more than 45,200 visitors to the memorial.

Around the Gac Ma Soldiers Memorial Area is designed a cluster of cultural works imbued with the sea and islands, remembering the merits of generations of Vietnamese people who bravely fought to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
