On the morning of September 27, at the Vietnam Tourism Awards Ceremony 2025, Thanh Ha Pottery Village, Hoi An Tay Ward, was the representative of Da Nang City to be honored in the category of "Best Community Tourism Destination".
The award is an important milestone, recognizing the efforts of management agencies and local communities in preserving and promoting the unique cultural and historical values of this traditional craft village that is more than 500 years old.

With a long history of formation and development, along with the almost intact preservation of relics and landscapes of traditional craft villages; traditional handmade pottery making processes and many valuable indigenous folk knowledge, Thanh Ha pottery village today has become a unique tourist destination, evaluated by many experts as a model of craft village tourism and community tourism in Vietnam, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists to visit and experience.
In 2019, Thanh Ha pottery was included in the list of national intangible cultural heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The Vietnam Tourism Awards are organized annually by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to honor tourism businesses, organizations, and high-quality educational and training establishments that have made positive contributions to the development of Vietnam's tourism, helping to affirm the position and role of the tourism industry in the national economy.
This year's award ceremony was held on World Tourism Day, September 27, with the message of responding to the transformation of Sustainable Tourism launched by the United Nations Tourism Organization, to promote sustainable, fair and environmentally responsible tourism.
The fact that Thanh Ha pottery village was honored in the category of "Best Community Tourism Destination" is not only the pride of the craft village itself, but also a testament to the right direction in developing craft village tourism associated with the community, helping to create great values for the community.
