May always seems to be a hurried month, carrying with it a very unique sound. It's the chirping of cicadas heralding summer, the rustling of exam papers, and the anxious sighs of parents. May opens the door to a hectic exam season, but it also sows countless worries in parents' hearts as summer approaches.
For students, May is a sacred but also stressful milestone. Behind them lie months of diligent studying, and ahead lie doors to a new chapter in their lives. Throughout schools, the atmosphere of exam preparation is more intense than ever. Thick stacks of exam papers, formulas in Math, Physics, and Chemistry, and lengthy essays occupy the minds of eighteen-year-olds, twenty-year-olds, and even those in their final year of junior high school.
But in that race, the children were never alone. Behind the late-night study lamps, there was always the silent presence of their parents. Mothers worried, watching over their children's meals, sleep, and the pressures of exam season. Their worries weren't simply about grades, but more importantly, about their children's health and mental well-being.
