NDO - On November 5th, caution from both buyers and sellers caused the main indices to fluctuate slightly around the reference point, and liquidity decreased sharply. Meanwhile, blue-chip stocks traded sluggishly, preventing the market from breaking through. At the close of the session, the VN-Index increased by 1.05 points to 1,245.76 points.
On the HoSE exchange, the trading value in this session decreased sharply compared to the previous session, reaching over 8,184.01 billion VND.
Foreign investors net sold 854 billion VND on the HoSE exchange. On the selling side, MSN shares were the most heavily sold (169 billion VND), followed by VHM (116 billion VND), MWG (86 billion VND), etc. Conversely, TCB shares were the most heavily bought (67 billion VND), followed by VPB (32 billion VND), EIB (32 billion VND), etc.
Today's trading session saw 11 stocks in the VN30 index rise, 10 stocks remain unchanged, and 9 stocks fall.
Of these, GVR increased by 1.74% to 32,100 VND per share.
Stocks such as BVH, HPG, MWG, PLX, POW,SHB , SSB, VCB, and VIC saw slight increases ranging from 0.11% to 0.96%.
Ten stocks stopped at the reference price, including:ACB , BCM, HDB, MBB, SAB, TCB, TPB, VHM, VIB, VPB.
Conversely, CTG fell 1.82% to 35,050 VND per share.
The remaining stocks: BID,FPT , GAS, MSN, SSI, STB, VJC, VNM, VRE saw slight decreases ranging from 0.14% to 0.63%.
In terms of sectors, steel stocks, excluding DTL which plummeted 6.15% to 11,450 VND/share, showed only slight fluctuations. Specifically, HMC increased 0.46%, HPG increased 0.76%, HSG increased 0.25%, NKG increased 0.97%, TLH increased 0.63%, VCA remained unchanged, and SMC decreased 0.15%.
Securities stocks closed the session mostly in the red, with TVS down 2.76% to VND 21,100/share, VCI down 0.87%, FTS down 0.82%, CTS down 0.66%, SSI down 0.38%, BSI down 0.31%, TCI down 0.24%, DSE down 0.20%, HCM down 0.17%, VIX down 1.4%, and APG down 0.11%. Conversely, TVB rose 2.69% to VND 9,150/share, VND increased 0.35%, while AGR, ORS, and VDS remained unchanged.
The banking sector stocks traded more positively, closing in the green. Besides the VN30 group stocks ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, and VIB mentioned above, other stocks such as EIB rose 3.21%, LPB rose 0.15%, MSB rose 0.43%, OCB fell 1.38%, and NAB rose 1.6%.
Real estate stocks closed slightly higher, with VSI up 6.42%, VRC up 4.19%, NVT up 4.44%, SIP up 2.64%, DXS up 1.4%, TDC up 1.3%, LHG up 1.14%,…
* The Vietnamese stock market index maintained its positive momentum throughout today's session, with the VNXALL-Index closing up 2.22 points (+0.11%) at 2,063.24 points. Total market liquidity reached 423.92 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND 11,302.87 billion. Across the market, 194 stocks increased in price, 107 remained unchanged, and 158 decreased.
* On the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), the HNX-Index closed at 224.86 points, up 0.40 points (+0.18%). Total trading volume reached over 26.64 million units, with a corresponding transaction value of over 468.45 billion VND. Across the entire exchange, there were 81 gainers, 69 unchanged stocks, and 57 losers.
The HNX30 index closed up 0.09 points (+0.02%) at 482.05 points. Trading volume reached approximately 14.17 million units, with a corresponding value of over 315.89 billion VND. Among the HNX30 stocks, 13 ended the trading day higher, 8 remained unchanged, and 9 declined.
On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index rose, closing at 91.90 points, up 0.30 points (+0.32%). Total market liquidity reached over 16.07 million shares traded, with a corresponding trading value of over 233.0 billion VND. Among UPCoM stocks, 147 ended the trading day higher, 92 remained unchanged, and 102 declined.
* On the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 1.05 points (+0.08%) at 1,245.76 points. Trading volume reached over 415.32 million units, equivalent to a transaction value of VND 10,919.45 billion. Across the entire exchange, there were 187 gainers, 83 unchanged stocks, and 168 losers.
The VN30 index rose 0.71 points (+0.05%) to 1,313.35 points. Trading volume reached over 163.56 million units, equivalent to a transaction value of VND 5,535.07 billion. At the end of the trading day, 11 VN30 stocks increased, 10 remained unchanged, and 9 decreased.
The five stocks with the highest trading volume were DXG (over 18.67 million units), VHM (over 14.14 million units), DIG (over 10.14 million units), VPB (over 9.95 million units), and TCB (over 9.92 million units).
The five stocks with the highest price increases were NAV (6.94%), TMT (6.92%), SMA (6.91%), SFC (6.90%), and DXV (6.86%).
