NDO - On November 5th, caution from both buyers and sellers caused the main indices to fluctuate slightly around the reference point, and liquidity decreased sharply. Meanwhile, blue-chip stocks traded sluggishly, preventing the market from breaking through. At the close of the session, the VN-Index increased by 1.05 points to 1,245.76 points.
On the HoSE exchange, the trading value in this session decreased sharply compared to the previous session, reaching over 8,184.01 billion VND.
Foreign investors net sold 854 billion VND on the HoSE exchange. On the selling side, MSN shares were the most heavily sold (169 billion VND), followed by VHM (116 billion VND), MWG (86 billion VND), etc. Conversely, TCB shares were the most heavily bought (67 billion VND), followed by VPB (32 billion VND), EIB (32 billion VND), etc.
Today's trading session saw 11 stocks in the VN30 index rise, 10 stocks remain unchanged, and 9 stocks fall.
Of these, GVR increased by 1.74% to 32,100 VND per share.
Stocks such as BVH, HPG, MWG, PLX, POW,SHB , SSB, VCB, and VIC saw slight increases ranging from 0.11% to 0.96%.
Ten stocks stopped at the reference price, including:ACB , BCM, HDB, MBB, SAB, TCB, TPB, VHM, VIB, VPB.
Conversely, CTG fell 1.82% to 35,050 VND per share.
The remaining stocks: BID,FPT , GAS, MSN, SSI, STB, VJC, VNM, VRE saw slight decreases ranging from 0.14% to 0.63%.
In terms of sectors, steel stocks, excluding DTL which plummeted 6.15% to 11,450 VND/share, showed only slight fluctuations. Specifically, HMC increased 0.46%, HPG increased 0.76%, HSG increased 0.25%, NKG increased 0.97%, TLH increased 0.63%, VCA remained unchanged, and SMC decreased 0.15%.
Securities stocks closed the session mostly in the red, with TVS down 2.76% to VND 21,100/share, VCI down 0.87%, FTS down 0.82%, CTS down 0.66%, SSI down 0.38%, BSI down 0.31%, TCI down 0.24%, DSE down 0.20%, HCM down 0.17%, VIX down 1.4%, and APG down 0.11%. Conversely, TVB rose 2.69% to VND 9,150/share, VND increased 0.35%, while AGR, ORS, and VDS remained unchanged.
The banking sector stocks traded more positively, closing in the green. Besides the VN30 group stocks ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, and VIB mentioned above, other stocks such as EIB rose 3.21%, LPB rose 0.15%, MSB rose 0.43%, OCB fell 1.38%, and NAB rose 1.6%.

Total market liquidity reached 423.92 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND 11,302.87 billion. * On the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), the HNX-Index closed at 224.86 points, up 0.40 points (+0.18%). On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index rose, closing at 91.90 points, up 0.30 points (+0.32%).
