Cai Be youth join hands to create a green - clean - beautiful environment, contributing to building new rural areas.

With the motto "Every small action - big change", the Youth Union chapters in the province have promoted propaganda andeducation on environmental protection awareness for union members, youth, students and people. Communication sessions, competitions, seminars, thematic activities on waste classification at source, limiting the use of plastic bags... are regularly organized in localities.

Deputy Secretary of Cai Be District Youth Union Nguyen Thi Ngoc Trang said: “We identify propaganda work as the top priority task, aiming to raise awareness and self-awareness of cadres, union members, youth, students and people in environmental protection. From there, we regularly mobilize everyone to join hands to preserve the living environment, respond to climate change, contribute to forming a civilized lifestyle, building a green - clean - beautiful landscape, creating an airy living environment, promoting socio -economic development in the locality”.

In 2025, the Standing Committee of Cai Be District Youth Union will continue to maintain and expand environmental protection models such as: "Exchange plastic waste - receive gifts", "Instructions for classifying plastic waste", "Green Youth Road", "People's Market to reduce plastic waste", "Green Road"....

At the same time, the Standing Committee of Cai Be District Youth Union also launched the organization of competitions: "Environmental Protection Ideas", peak activities "Green Sunday", "Volunteer Saturday", "Peak Day to join hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", "Action for change" with many specific tasks and projects such as: Salvaging water hyacinth to clear the flow, collecting and cleaning plastic waste, removing advertising billboards, planting new trees... From the effectiveness of the model, it has been propagated to union members, youth and people in participating in environmental protection activities and responding to climate change.

During Youth Month 2025, the province maintained 121 volunteer teams for the environment, carried out more than 300 waste collection activities, planted more than 7,000 new trees, removed illegal advertisements, dredged canals... with a total benefit value of more than 816 million VND. In the first quarter of 2025 alone, Tien Giang youth forces carried out 335 projects and youth tasks associated with new rural construction and environmental protection with a total value of over 4 billion VND.

It can be affirmed that the environmental protection work carried out by Tien Giang youth force during Youth Month and the first quarter of 2025 has achieved many outstanding results, clearly demonstrating the pioneering, voluntary and responsible role of youth towards the community. The activities not only contribute to making the living environment greener - cleaner - more beautiful, but also raise people's awareness of preserving urban landscapes and protecting natural resources.

In the coming time, the Youth Union at all levels in the province will continue to promote the pioneering and voluntary role of young people in environmental protection work with many synchronous and effective solutions. Focus on promoting propaganda and education to raise awareness and self-awareness of union members, youth and people in preserving the living environment and responding to climate change.

At the same time, effectively promote peak activities such as "Green Sunday", "Volunteer Saturday", associated with building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; strengthen coordination with local authorities, mass organizations and enterprises to mobilize resources, deploy more practical youth projects and tasks, contributing to environmental protection and building Tien Giang increasingly green - clean - beautiful, sustainable development.
