Hue City: Police forces assist residents in harvesting rice.

On the afternoon of May 8th, the Hue City Police announced that, in implementing the "Three Best" emulation movement: "Most Disciplined - Most Loyal - Closest to the People," linked with public relations work and building the image of a People's Police officer serving the people, the Long Quang Commune Police have carried out many practical activities aimed at the grassroots level, including assisting local residents with harvesting rice.

Due to the mountainous terrain, the weather has been erratic recently, with intense heat during the day and thunderstorms frequently occurring in the evening, affecting the harvesting of the 2025-2026 Winter-Spring rice crop. In response to this situation, on May 8, 2026, the Long Quang Commune Police mobilized officers and soldiers to assist Mr. Vo Huu Thuan's family (residing in Hamlet 5, Long Quang Commune, Hue City), a single-parent household facing difficult circumstances, in harvesting and transporting their rice safely and promptly before the thunderstorms.

This practical activity not only helps people harvest rice in a timely manner, minimizing damage caused by adverse weather, but also demonstrates the sense of responsibility, closeness, and connection of the local police force with the people; contributing to spreading a positive image of dedicated, responsible police officers who wholeheartedly serve the people.

Besides assisting people with harvesting their crops, the Long Quang commune police also propagated and encouraged people not to burn straw after harvest in order to reduce the risk of fire spread and uncontrolled fires, protect the environment, and ensure fire safety in the area.

This is a meaningful activity that promotes the spirit of mutual support and solidarity, helping people in their work and production; and at the same time contributes to strengthening the relationship of unity and closeness between the police force and the people.

It is understood that in the coming period, the Long Quang Commune Police will continue to promote social welfare activities, effectively implement the "Three Best" emulation movement, contributing to maintaining security and order and building a positive image of the People's Police force in the hearts of the people.
