Removing difficulties in construction materials for key projects

On the morning of January 29, the Ministry of Construction coordinated with the Ministry of Transport to organize an online conference to remove difficulties and obstacles related to construction norms and unit prices; exploitation and supply of construction materials for key and important national transport projects and works. Attending the conference at Thai Binh bridge were comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of relevant departments, branches and localities.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed and issued Official Dispatch No. 02/CD-TTg on focusing on removing difficulties and obstacles related to construction norms and unit prices; exploiting and supplying construction materials for key and important national traffic projects and works. In particular, requesting the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to direct relevant agencies and units to promptly announce construction price indexes, construction material prices, construction labor unit prices, ensuring completeness, consistency with market prices, and compliance with legal regulations... Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee has issued Official Dispatch No. 195/UBND-CTXDGT implementing Official Dispatch No. 02 of the Prime Minister; in which, requesting relevant departments and branches to regularly monitor and closely follow developments of the construction market in the province to promptly update, adjust and announce construction material prices and construction price indexes in accordance with the market price. Strengthen inspection, examination, control and strict management of construction material prices, especially at construction material mines in operation. Violations must be resolutely handled in accordance with the law.
