For many relatives of fallen soldiers whose identities remain unknown, today, the hope of finding the graves of their loved ones after decades of searching has been rekindled.

Mr. Pham Chi Thanh's family, residing in Phuoc Buu town, Xuyen Moc district, has four relatives who sacrificed their lives during the resistance war against the US. Currently, the graves of his two older brothers, Martyrs Pham Van Het and Pham Van Lay, remain unidentified. Today, he and his brother, Pham Van Sinh, came to the Provincial Police Department to provide samples. "Hopefully, this time we will find them," Mr. Thanh shared.

Ms. Tran Thi Thanh, residing in Long Phuoc commune, Ba Ria city, lost her father and brother in the war, with her brother, Martyr Tran Van Dia, still missing. For many years, the family has searched numerous times and in many places, but without success. "My mother's wish, and ours too, is to find my brother and bring him home to be buried next to my father," Ms. Thanh said, her voice choked with emotion.

On April 17th, 46 samples were collected in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.
