Last weekend, two large private destinations, popular with tourists when coming to Quang Nam, Hoiana (Duy Xuyen district) and Vinwonders Nam Hoi An (Thang Binh district) jointly organized the lighting of the Christmas tree, kicking off the year-end tourist season.

The charity program "Lighting up dreams" launched by Hoiana Resort & Golf aims to support hearing-impaired children at the Quang Nam Center for Support and InclusiveEducation for Hearing-impaired Children (under the Hearing & Beyond Organization).

At the program, deaf children hung their wishes on the Christmas tree. They also created a touching moment for the audience when they performed a Christmas song in sign language.

On this occasion, Hoiana Resort & Golf also presented a plaque of VND 240 million to VinaCapital Foundation (VCF). This amount will be sent to VCF’s “Heartbeat Vietnam” initiative, equivalent to the cost of heart surgery for 7 children in difficult circumstances.

This is an annual charity event during the year-end festival of Hoiana Resort & Golf. Since 2022, Hoiana has joined hands to support a total of 32 heart surgeries for children.

Mr. Steve Wolstenholme - Chairman and General Director of Hoiana Resort & Golf said that every year during the festival season, Hoiana organizes meaningful social activities to spread joy and love to those in difficult circumstances, especially the less fortunate children.

“We are happy that this activity contributes to bringing hope and better life opportunities to the children in particular and their families in general,” said Mr. Steve Wolstenholme.

Meanwhile, at Vinwonders Nam Hoi An, the Christmas tree lighting party opening the Wake up festival series to welcome Christmas and New Year 2025 also had a very meaningful activity with a Christmas wish program for less fortunate children.

About 200 students from Hope School (Da Nang City) - a school that educates children who unfortunately lost their parents after the COVID-19 pandemic - had a day to explore exciting games at Vinwonders Nam Hoi An and see many rare animals at this entertainment complex.

Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Giau - General Manager of Vinwonders Nam Hoi An said: “This is the first time the organizer has integrated this program into the series of Christmas activities. The children were very excited to meet and interact with Santa Claus. We will try to maintain this meaningful program in the following years to share Christmas love with less fortunate children.”
