I love Uncle Ho's soldiers even more.

These days, the atmosphere at schools throughout the city is much livelier as students participate in programs commemorating the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2025).

Despite the persistent rain, upon arriving at the K55 Technical Depot (Nong Son commune), the students of Nong Son commune were warmly welcomed and transformed into "little soldiers." They were introduced to the traditions of the K55 Technical Depot, toured the living quarters, the production area, the training area, and learned about the daily routines and training of the soldiers.

The cultural exchange program between children and soldiers left many viewers with strong emotions, especially the melodies praising the soldiers. In particular, the soldiers expressed their emotion upon receiving gifts such as beautiful handmade cards, carefully written letters, and lively drawings from the children. Ho Trong Hieu, a 5th-grade student from Hoang Dieu Primary School, confided: “Participating in this activity, I learned many skills and grew to love the soldiers even more.”

In addition to activities such as "Letters Across the Waves," "Exchange with Veterans," and "Discussion on the Army's Traditional Day," Tran Quoc Toan Primary School (Thang Binh commune) also organized an online exchange with Battalion 70 (Bai Lang, Tan Hiep). Teacher Nguyen Van Nhan, Head of the Youth Union at Tran Quoc Toan Primary School, said that the activity aimed to strengthen the solidarity between the school and the soldiers of Battalion 70. This helps the students broaden their knowledge, strive in their studies and training, live disciplined lives, and learn to share.

At preschools , teachers guide children in tearing and pasting paper, sculpting, dressing up as soldiers, making toys, and performing artistic shows praising the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers. Ms. Zơ Râm Kiên, Principal of Nam Giang Preschool (Nam Giang commune), said that although the children's creations may not be visually appealing, they contain feelings of gratitude and appreciation for the soldiers who have protected the country day and night.
