"The Ho Chi Minh City Grade 10 exam grading committee will begin its work on the morning of June 3rd, starting with the process of assigning codes to the answer sheets," a leader of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training informed Tuoi Tre Online on the afternoon of June 2nd.
Accordingly, the process of assigning codes to the exam papers will take place on June 3rd and 4th. From June 5th onwards, the judges will officially begin grading the exams.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training announced that all exam papers from candidates will be sent to Zone 1 (formerly Ho Chi Minh City) for grading. The Department has mobilized a team of examiners consisting of high school teachers from all three zones to Zone 1 to grade the exams.
Judges currently residing in Zone 2 (formerly Binh Duong) and Zone 3 (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau) will be provided with accommodation and meals in Zone 1 to ensure they can fulfill their judging duties.
Due to the large number of exam papers, they will be graded at three different locations. All grading locations must meet requirements regarding facilities, safety, etc.
"The grading process is expected to take place over four days, June 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th. The Department of Education and Training anticipates announcing the results of the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2026-2027 school year on June 9th," a leader from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training stated.
The entrance exam for 10th grade in public schools in Ho Chi Minh City for the 2026-2027 school year took place over two days, June 1st and 2nd, with more than 151,000 candidates participating. This is the largest-scale exam ever held.
By the third exam session (mathematics), 639 candidates had dropped out.
According to observations by Tuoi Tre Online reporters, the exam questions for all three subjects—literature, mathematics, and foreign language—this year were somewhat easier compared to last year.
