GD&TĐ - Despite the higher difficulty level of the specialized subject exam, many candidates looked radiant after completing the 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City.

On the afternoon of June 2nd, heavy rain fell in many areas of Ho Chi Minh City, lasting for more than an hour. At the exam locations for specialized and integrated subjects, parents wearing raincoats and holding umbrellas crowded the sidewalks around the exam venues.

At the exam center at Trung Vuong High School (Saigon Ward), after the specialized subject exam, many students looked cheerful after completing the exam. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Phuc (a student from Le Quy Don Secondary School) took the Japanese specialized subject exam for Le Hong Phong Specialized High School. Phuc shared that the reading comprehension section was difficult and took a lot of time to complete. "The specialized exam was more difficult, so I wanted to test my abilities. If the results aren't as expected, I'll change my application to Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School," the female student said.

Agreeing with this, Bui Ngoc Anh (a student from Phan Van Tri Secondary School) said that this year she applied to the specialized History class at Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted. The female student said the History exam was quite difficult and lengthy. Many questions required critical thinking and connections between historical events and issues, rather than rote memorization. "I filled two exam papers, but I'm not very confident; I think I'll get around 4-5 points," Ngoc Anh said.

Thus, after two days of exams, the 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City has concluded. As of the Mathematics exam session, 639 students were absent. According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, the grading process will begin immediately afterward, with results expected to be announced after June 12th.
