Le Thi Hong Hanh stammered when she was the first contestant to answer the question in the top 5 of Miss Grand Vietnam 2023.

Le Thi Hong Hanh (Contestant No. 314) from Thai Binh was the first contestant to take the Q&A round. She drew the question: "What are your thoughts on tolerance and forgiveness in modern life?"

Le Thi Hong Hanh hesitated and lost her composure before answering. "Today I wasn't the best contestant. However, the applause and encouragement from everyone here have already shown me great understanding and forgiveness."

Truong Qui Minh Nhan answered in both languages during the Q&A segment.

Contestant Truong Qui Minh Nhan (Contestant No. 158) from Thua Thien Hue drew the question: "When talking about your hometown, what makes you most proud?".

She chose to answer bilingually. Speaking about her hometown, Truong Qui Minh Nhan mentioned beef noodle soup, pressed rice cakes, and the Perfume River, which captivated Hoang Phu Ngoc Tuong.

However, what she is most proud of is that the people of Hue in particular, and the people of Vietnam in general, are known for their tolerance, forgiveness, and compassion.

Le Hoang Phuong answered confidently and fluently in the Q&A segment of the top 5.

Le Hoang Phuong, from Khanh Hoa, entered the Q&A round to enthusiastic cheers from the audience. She drew a question related to parenting.

"For me, children are a reflection of their parents. The behavior of parents will be demonstrated by the next generation."

Sadly, there is a growing problem today where some parents don't hesitate to make negative comments about children who are the same age as their own. This is a major issue that we need to address.

We have to think about what it would be like if those children were our own? More importantly, what if our children were hurting others?

"For a child to develop best, adults must build a civilized, healthy, understanding, disciplined, and ethical society," Le Hoang Phuong confidently stated on stage.

Bui Khanh Linh answers questions about filial piety during the Vu Lan festival.

Contestant Bui Khanh Linh from Bac Giang answered a question about the story of the Vu Lan festival, a time for showing filial piety.

She confidently stated, "Standing here today, I want to tell you, Mom, that I will strive to follow in your footsteps."

During the Vu Lan festival, I wish all the mothers out there good health so they can accompany us. On the occasion of the August Revolution, I would also like to thank the heroic Vietnamese mothers who have been the torch that dispelled the darkness, bringing peace to the country."

Dang Hoang Tam Nhu during the Q&A segment.

Dang Hoang Tam Nhu was the last contestant to enter the Q&A round. She drew the question: "What are your thoughts on neighborly relationships in modern life?"

The beauty queen from Thua Thien Hue believes that this is a seemingly simple issue, but it is actually very important.

"This is a normal but extremely important issue. It reflects the reality that people are gradually becoming desensitized, increasingly limiting their interactions due to conflict, social dangers, and especially verbal violence."

We all make mistakes at some point. If we constantly judge, denying others a chance to correct their mistakes and giving them hope, they will become increasingly withdrawn from society and lose faith in life.

"I stand here wanting to tell you that we need to raise our awareness to trust ourselves more, to share love and understanding because no one deserves to be left behind in this world," she said.
