Along with candidates nationwide, on the morning of June 11th, nearly 14,400 candidates in Son La province began the 2026 high school graduation exam with the first subject being Literature.

This year, Son La province has 33 examination centers with 674 examination rooms, including 629 official examination rooms and 45 waiting/reserve examination rooms. The entire province has mobilized over 2,400 officials, teachers, staff, and other personnel to serve the examination. The Department of Education and Training has also established inspection teams to monitor the organization and management of the examination at all centers, ensuring that the exam is conducted seriously, safely, and in accordance with regulations.

From early morning, police, medical personnel, and volunteer youth were present at the examination sites to ensure security, traffic safety, and support for candidates. "Exam Support Teams" prepared drinking water, school supplies, and many practical support activities, providing encouragement to the students before the exam.

At exactly 7:35 AM, candidates began taking the Literature exam in essay format, with a time limit of 120 minutes, marking the start of the 2026 High School Graduation Examination .
