ANTD.VN - State budget revenue as of November 10th is estimated to have reached 99.4% of the projected target thanks to positive growth in both domestic revenue and revenue from import and export activities.
According to the Ministry of Finance 's report, cumulative state budget revenue for the first 10 months is estimated at 1,654.2 trillion VND, equivalent to 97.2% of the projected figure, an increase of 17.3% compared to the same period in 2023 (of which, central government budget revenue is estimated at approximately 101.7% of the projected figure; local government budget revenue is estimated at approximately 92.7% of the projected figure).
Of this, domestic revenue is estimated at 1,377.6 trillion VND, equivalent to 95.4% of the projected figure, an increase of 18.1% compared to the same period in 2023. Revenue from import and export activities is estimated at 227.2 trillion VND, equivalent to 111.4% of the projected figure, an increase of 18.9% compared to the same period in 2023.

According to an update from Deputy Minister of Finance Cao Anh Tuan, as of November 10th, budget revenue had reached 99.4% of the projected target. Therefore, only about 10 trillion VND remains for the Ministry of Finance to complete its 2024 budget revenue target.
Regarding policies on tax, fee, and charge exemptions, reductions, and extensions, according to the Director General of the General Department of Taxation, Mai Xuan Thanh, it is estimated that nearly 134 trillion VND has been exempted, reduced, or extended in the first 10 months, including 74 trillion VND in extensions and over 63 trillion VND in exemptions and reductions.
Regarding debt collection, in the first 10 months, the amount collected reached 38 trillion VND, an increase of 33% compared to the same period last year and a decrease of 3% compared to the end of September. Over the past period, the Tax Department has applied all possible measures to collect tax debts.
In the near future, the General Department of Taxation will coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security to implement an automatic travel ban. Once taxpayers have paid their taxes, this ban will be lifted as quickly as possible, allowing them to leave the country.
Regarding budget expenditure, cumulative budget expenditure for the first 10 months reached approximately 1,399.7 trillion VND, equivalent to 66% of the projected budget, an increase of 4.1% compared to the same period in 2023.
Of this, development investment expenditure is estimated at approximately 355.6 trillion VND, equivalent to 52.5% of the budget approved by the National Assembly , and the disbursement rate is estimated at 52.29% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister.
