Accelerating the progress of land auctions in 2025.

On April 16th, Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting to hear a report on the progress of auctioning 8 land plots in 2025.

Specifically, the land plot of the old tourist market in Thang Tam ward, Vung Tau city, has been put up for auction twice but failed due to a lack of registered participants; the 3/2 urban area in Vung Tau city is scheduled to be auctioned on April 26th. The remaining land plots are awaiting approval of the auction plan, specific prices, starting prices, and 1/500 scale planning.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Tho requested relevant units to review the land valuation process to avoid delays in the auction of land plots; he also assigned the Department of Finance and the Department of Agriculture and Environment to lead the review of the implementation process and advise the Provincial People's Committee to work with consulting units to standardize the land valuation process, thereby promoting the land auction in 2025 as planned.
