The base tax of 6 Lao Cai provinces collected non-agricultural land use tax reaching 81% of the plan.

Thanks to the promotion of digital transformation, up to now, the Tax Departments of 6 Lao Cai provinces have implemented the collection of non-agricultural land use tax at 81% of the plan; in which the tax payment rate via Etax Mobile application reached 83.1%.

The base tax of 6 Lao Cai provinces is in charge of the area, including wards: Yen Bai , Nam Cuong, Van Phu, Au Lau and communes: Yen Binh, Thac Ba, Bao Ai, Yen Thanh

In 2025, the Tax Department of 6 Lao Cai provinces will be assigned to collect non -agricultural land use tax, with the assigned target of collecting over 7 billion 428 million VND in 9 communes and wards in the province.

Tax officers at base 6 support people to install and guide operations on the Etax Mobile application.

To achieve this goal, the Tax Department of 6 Lao Cai provinces has developed a specific plan, coordinated with communes and wards to direct departments, organizations and residential groups to strengthen propaganda and dissemination to the people; directly notified each household with full information on location, time, tax payable and personal tax code.

The local tax authorities of 6 Lao Cai provinces have arranged direct tax collection points at convenient locations for people to easily pay taxes. At the same time, two forms of direct collection are implemented in parallel at the collection points. Specialized tax officers directly support people in installing and guiding operations on the Etax Mobile application, contributing to promoting electronic payments, reducing waiting time and ensuring that tax collection is quick and transparent.

Up to now, the Tax Department of 6 Lao Cai provinces has implemented the collection of non-agricultural land use tax reaching 4 billion 869 million VND, equal to 81% of the plan; in which, the rate of households paying tax via Etax Mobile application reached 83.1%. The Tax Department of 6 Lao Cai provinces strives to complete the collection of non-agricultural land use tax in October 2025.
