Thanks to the accelerated application of digital transformation, the tax authorities in the six provinces of Lao Cai have now collected 81% of the non-agricultural land use tax target; of which the rate of tax payment through the Etax Mobile application reached 83.1%.

The tax base covers the six districts of Lao Cai province, including the wards of Yen Bai, Nam Cuong, Van Phu, and Au Lau, and the communes of Yen Binh, Thac Ba, Bao Ai, and Yen Thanh.

In 2025, the Tax Department of 6 Lao Cai province was assigned to collect non- agricultural land use tax, with a target of over 7.428 billion VND in 9 communes and wards within the province.

This contributes to promoting electronic payments, reducing waiting times, and ensuring that tax collection is quick, efficient, and transparent.

To date, the tax authorities in the six provinces of Lao Cai have collected 4.869 billion VND in non-agricultural land use tax, equivalent to 81% of the plan; of which, the percentage of households paying taxes through the Etax Mobile application reached 83.1%. The tax authorities in the six provinces of Lao Cai strive to complete the collection of non-agricultural land use tax by October 2025.
