On the afternoon of July 1, comrade Ngo Chi Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee working with press and media agencies. After listening to the leaders of Vinh Long Provincial Newspaper and Radio and Television reporting on the draft projects and plans to merge newspapers and radio stations, comrade Ngo Chi Cuong praised the efforts in press and propaganda activities to carry out political tasks, the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws. Newspaper and radio stations have also carefully prepared projects and plans to merge to submit to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for consideration.
Concluding the meeting, comrade Ngo Chi Cuong requested the leaders of press and radio agencies to complete the plan agreed upon by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to submit to the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for consideration and decision.
Emphasizing the importance and role of Vinh Long Provincial Newspaper and Radio and Television Station in carrying out political tasks after the merger, comrade Ngo Chi Cuong requested to focus on doing a good job of political and ideologicaleducation for cadres, party members and civil servants. Focus on improving the quality of propaganda work on radio and television. Ensure smooth broadcasting transmission techniques for programs; calculate the effective exploitation of existing facilities, avoid waste.
