Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) has just issued instructions on setting electricity warning thresholds so that customers can control their electricity consumption. Accordingly, with just a few simple steps and operations on smartphones, customers can set electricity warning thresholds to proactively control their daily electricity usage.
Installation instructions
If the phone does not have EVN's customer care application, for Android phones, customers go to CHplay, for IOS operating system, customers go to Appstore, search and install this application of the electricity corporation where the customer lives.
Currently, all 5 EVN companies have customer care applications such as EVNSPC CSKH, EVNHCMC CSKH, EVNCPC CSKH, EVNNPC CSKH, EVNHANOI.
First, customers access the customer care application. If in Hanoi , customers will use the EVNHANOI application, then just need to perform the following simple steps:
- Go to meter index lookup section
- Select power consumption
- Select to set warning threshold
- Select the warning output threshold (kWh) or select "Rate of electricity output increase compared to last month" to set the desired number (kWh) or rate (%) to be warned.
- Click confirm to complete the system, then the system will automatically send a warning when your family's electricity consumption exceeds the set threshold, via Zalo messages and your registered email.
Introducing the feature of setting electricity consumption warning thresholds into the customer service ecosystem is a practical action of the Electricity Corporations, aiming to support customers to proactively manage their family's electricity usage, especially during peak hot weather.
