Promoting Da Nang tourism through cinema.
This year’s Asian Film Festival has made remarkable progress in both scale and program with many new highlights such as: Half a century of Vietnamese war films; Korean cinema spotlight; Project incubator. In particular, the birth of the program “Asian Cinema Panorama” with excellent regional cinema works, along with films selected for premiere and the appearance of the “Asian Film Critics Award”.
The Da Nang Asian Film Festival is not only a place to introduce excellent cinematographic works, but also a space for meeting, cooperation and spreading inspiration between filmmakers, artists and audiences. In particular, with the support of international organizations, seminars and exchange activities, this will be an opportunity for Vietnamese cinema as well as Da Nang to have more voice on the regional and world cinema map, helping to connect the destinations of Da Nang tourism brand more strongly.
With its scale, professionalism and high professional quality, the third Da Nang Asian Film Festival is an affirmation of Da Nang's development orientation to become a new center of cultural creativity and film industry in Vietnam and the region.
