According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in September, the average temperature nationwide will be approximately the same as the average for many years in the same period, with the average temperature in the Central Highlands and the South being about 0.5-1 degrees Celsius higher than the average for many years in the same period. Heat waves are likely to appear locally in the area from Thanh Hoa to Hue and the South Central Coast, concentrated in the first half of September 2025.

Deputy Head of Climate Forecasting Department Tran Thi Chuc said that the total rainfall in the Northern Delta region, provinces and cities from Thanh Hoa to Gia Lai is generally 10-25% higher than the average of many years, while the total rainfall in the remaining regions is approximately the same as the average of many years in the same period.
