Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the delegation of the city's armed forces respectfully offered a beautiful flower basket to express their infinite gratitude for the immense merits of Uncle Ho, the national liberation hero, world cultural celebrity, and the beloved Father of the armed forces.
Reporting to Uncle Ho, Colonel Phan Thang, Commander of the City Military Command, said: 80 years ago, under the leadership of the Party Central Committee and directly the Thua Thien Provincial Party Committee, on September 5, 1945, in the ancient capital of Hue , the Tran Cao Van Liberation Army was established - the predecessor of today's Hue City Military Force. After 80 years of construction, fighting and growing, the city's Military Force has continuously grown, excellently completed assigned tasks, and has always been a pioneering, trustworthy force, a solid support for the Party Committee, government and people.
The city's armed forces vow to be absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the People; constantly train themselves to have a firm political stance, pure morality, and strict discipline; continue to promote the glorious 80-year tradition of the city's armed forces; study and follow his ideology, morality and style throughout their lives; and be worthy of being "Uncle Ho's soldiers" - soldiers of the People, fighting, serving and sacrificing for the People.
At the end of the ceremony, the delegation of Hue City Military Forces observed a minute of silence to remember and pay tribute to the contributions of President Ho Chi Minh.
