Joining the solemn and proud atmosphere of the whole country looking forward to the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), a sacred historical milestone, Vietnam National Shipping Lines ( VIMC ) officially launched the "VIMC - Sea of Gratitude" Run. This is a practical action to pay tribute to history and affirm the role of VIMC always accompanying the country's development stages. More importantly, the run also strongly responds to the national digital transformation policy according to Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo, through the run implementing the program to support the equipment of computer rooms for students at Sin Ho Secondary School, Sin Ho Commune, Lai Chau Province. We not only give material gifts, but also directly “give wings” to the future generation to access digital knowledge, contributing to narrowing the digital gap and creating a better future. At the same time, the race is a great opportunity to spread the core cultural values of VIMC, especially the spirit of “Unity” through the participation of the whole group and the value of “Dedication” through actions towards the community. 2.1. Time:
– Online race: From September 1, 2025 to September 24, 2025 (24 days).

– Online race: Using Strava platform combined with 84race.
– Live race: Thong Nhat Park, 354A Le Duan, Kham Thien Ward, Hanoi City.
2.3. Running route: Run around the lake at Thong Nhat Park (live race).

1.1. How to record achievements
Running results are recorded through the Strava application combined with 84race to calculate the number of kilometers run during the program from September 1, 2025 to September 24, 2025 (24 days). Athletes will run and walk on their own during the daily active time frame, and the results will be recorded online. The results are only accepted by the Organizing Committee when running outdoors, not accepting forms of running on a treadmill, indoors, on the spot, and replaced by other types of exercise (online running instructions attached) .
1.2. Program to support the construction of "Computer classrooms for children"
The achievements of the athletes participating in the online race will be recorded to count towards the program to support the equipment of "Computer classrooms for children" at Sin Ho Secondary School, Sin Ho Commune, Lai Chau Province. The Corporation will support an amount of money corresponding to the total number of kilometers that all employees, officers and crew members achieve to implement this program. Conversion method: 1km = 1,000 VND.
1.3. Registration
Athletes register to compete in groups and by committee or unit according to the following steps:
– Step 1: Download the Strava app and create an account.
– Step 2: Visit the website http://84race.com/ and create an account (Note: use VIMC and DNTV email to receive results).
– Step 3: Log in to 84race and connect to Strava.
– Step 4: Access the “VIMC – Gratitude Journey” Race with event code: VIMC2025.
– Step 5: Select group.
Athletes register on a voluntary and honest basis, strictly complying with the program's regulations.

- Collective category (enterprise)
(i) “Wave of Unity” Award: an award that honors the spirit of solidarity and the ability to mobilize collective strength. It is not important how far a person runs, but how many people share the same path. The calculation formula is as follows:

2.1. Registration
– For the General Corporation's office and member enterprises working at Ocean Park Building: require the Departments and units to register at least 50% of employees to participate in the race.
– For the Youth Union of the Corporation and the enterprises working at Ocean Park Building: 100% of union members are required to register to participate in the race (except in cases of medical reasons, not healthy enough to run).

2.2. How to record achievements
– The individual competition is divided into 02 events: men's individual (02 laps around the park, corresponding to a distance of 4km), women's individual (01 lap around the park, corresponding to a distance of 2km).
– Scoring and ranking: according to the order of the athletes' finishing, from the time the starting signal is given until the athlete completes the running route according to the prescribed distance and crosses the finish line.
2.3. Awards
– First Prize: 02 individual prizes (01 prize for men and 01 prize for women): 1,000,000 VND/prize.
– Second Prize: 04 individual prizes (02 prizes for men and 02 prizes for women): 700,000 VND/prize.
– Third Prize: 06 individual prizes (03 prizes for men and 03 prizes for women): 500,000 VND/prize.
– Encouragement Prize: individuals participating and completing the race distance: 200,000 VND/prize.
– “Fleet of Battle” Award: for the department/division/unit with the largest number of employees registering to participate and completing the full competition distance: 500,000 VND/award.
III. IMPLEMENTATION ORGANIZATION
The Human Resources Department, the General Corporation Office, the General Corporation Youth Union, and the General Corporation Trade Union coordinate the implementation.
- Human Resources Department
– Mainly responsible for advising on tournament organization; Chairing and assigning detailed tasks to other departments and units to organize the tournament to achieve the set goals and requirements (referee team, supervisors, assistants, etc.).
– Design internal communication publications, take photos, and save documents throughout the entire program. Prepare shirts, registration numbers, hats, or “VIMC – Gratitude Journey” ribbons to distribute to athletes.
– Organize media, promote media activities and other tasks serving the race.
– Collect the number of registered participants, notify the registration numbers to the athletes, and distribute shirts to the athletes according to the contact points and registration units.
- Head Office
– Prepare conditions and ceremonies for the opening and closing ceremonies (starting gate, finishing gate, stage, sound, lighting, tables and chairs, sign system, flags, lines to create the route, finishing silk ribbons...).
– Prepare conditions and guests for the opening and closing ceremonies.
– Print and send invitations to leaders to attend the opening and award ceremony.
– Prepare logistics, drinking water, towels, medical equipment, etc. for the program.
- Youth Union of the Corporation
– Mobilize, manage, and guide youth union members to participate in the referee team, supervisors, and volunteers to support the organization of the race at the starting point, and guide runners at checkpoints, support points, water stations, and finish points.
– Support for installing applications on the device.
