Saigontourist Group cooperates with Tuoi Tre Newspaper to co-organize "Vietnam Pho Festival 2025" in Singapore

On the morning of October 18, 2025, at the community center Our Tampines Hub (Singapore), the Vietnam Pho Festival 2025 event officially opened.

The event was attended by distinguished guests: Mr. Desmond Choo - Minister of State of the Ministry of Defense of Singapore; Mr. Tran Phuoc Anh - Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Singapore; Mr. Pham Huy Binh - Director of the Department of Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City, Co-Head of the Steering Committee of Vietnam Pho Festival 2025 in Singapore; Mr. Le The Chu - Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Newspaper, Co-Head of the Steering Committee of Vietnam Pho Festival 2025 in Singapore along with many ambassadors of countries in Singapore, leaders of accompanying businesses, the Vietnamese community in Singapore, a large number of Singaporeans and international visitors.

"Vietnam Pho Festival 2025" in Singapore is the third time the two units have cooperated to bring this unique culinary culture festival abroad, after the resounding success in Japan in 2023 and Korea in 2024.

This event took place on October 18 and 19, 2025, organized with the close coordination of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs , the Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore, and many prestigious domestic and foreign enterprises.

Choosing Singapore as the destination for 2025 not only celebrates the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, but also affirms the importance of this market.

Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism Pham Huy Binh spoke and affirmed: "Singapore is currently the third largest investment partner in Vietnam and is one of the key tourism markets of Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh City as well as the Saigontourist Group system in particular in the Southeast Asia region".

Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Mr. Vo Anh Tai - Deputy General Director of Saigontourist Group, representative of the co-organizer of "Vietnam Pho Festival 2025" in Singapore - emphasized the significance of the event: "We are very pleased to continue to bring the Vietnam Pho Festival to the world, and this time in Singapore, one of the leading important economic partners of Vietnam and a potential international tourist market for the Vietnamese tourism industry in general and Saigontourist Group in particular. After 50 years of establishing diplomatic relations, the relationship between Vietnam and Singapore has developed remarkably in all fields. Organizing this event here is even more meaningful, as we work together to further strengthen the friendship, cooperation and exchange between the two peoples."

At the "Vietnam Pho Festival 2025" event, Saigontourist Group introduced pho and traditional Vietnamese delicacies to the Vietnamese community in Singapore, local people and a large number of international tourists. The "national soul" dishes of Vietnam at this year's festival were prepared and served by 5 leading member units of the group: Rex Hotel Saigon, Majestic Hotel Saigon, Grand Hotel Saigon, Caravelle Hotel Saigon and Pho brand of Thu Duc Golf Restaurant (Vietnam Golf & Country Club).

Not only focusing on cuisine, "Vietnam Pho Festival 2025" is also an opportunity for Saigontourist Group to participate in signing bilateral tourism development cooperation agreements, and organize route survey trips in Singapore.
