Bridges - symbols of aspirations
Hue is one of the few cities in Vietnam that can reconcile two seemingly opposing values: preservation and development. While many large cities struggle with the problem of "preserving the soul of the old town" amidst the industrial pace of life, Hue has found its own way to develop without losing its identity, expanding while still preserving its cultural depth.
The heritage values of Hue - from the ancient capital relic complex, royal court music, mausoleum system, pagodas, craft villages... are not only preserved, but also "live" in contemporary life. The city government has identified the development model of "heritage - ecology - culture - environmental friendliness" as the guiding principle, in which culture is the core axis, natural landscape is the foundation, and people are the center of all development policies.
If Truong Tien Bridge is the symbol of ancient Hue, gentle and quiet, reflecting on the Huong River, then new bridges such as Da Vien, Phu Xuan, Nguyen Hoang or Thuan An seaport overpass bring the breath of a new era, modern and aspirational.
In particular, Nguyen Hoang Bridge - a strategic project connecting the city center with the area north of the Perfume River not only shortens the geographical distance, but also opens up new development space, creating momentum for a smart and sustainable urban area. Every morning, the golden sunlight spreads on Nguyen Hoang Bridge as a symbol of a rising Hue, full of energy and aspirations to rise.
At the same time, the Thuan An seaport overpass is being urgently constructed, promising to become one of the most beautiful coastal bridges in the Central region, connecting the center of Hue with the lagoon and the East Sea, opening up opportunities for strong development of the marine economy and tourism. These bridges not only connect the two banks, but also connect the aspirations and beliefs of the people of Hue in the development journey.

New urban appearance - the mark of long-term vision
Along with the traffic infrastructure, Hue urban space is expanding rapidly. Many new urban areas such as An Van Duong, Phu My Thuong, Huong An... have been formed, contributing to creating a spacious, civilized and modern appearance.
Hue today is not only a place to live, but also a place where people enjoy culture and nature. The roads along the Perfume River, green parks, artistic lighting areas, and architectural works in harmony with the landscape have created a distinct urban identity - modern but still calm and profound.
The city government is determined to achieve the goal of green - smart - sustainable development, focusing on synchronous planning, preserving "urban souls" such as Huong River, Ngu Binh Mountain, and Vong Canh Hill. Each urban project is designed not only to serve the people, but also to improve the quality of life, creating a cultural - ecological - human-connected space.
In addition to infrastructure development, Hue also focuses on developing culture, society, education and health, the sustainable pillars of a livable city. Programs such as "Hue - City of Four Seasons of Flowers", "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful City", "Hue - Capital of Vietnamese Ao Dai" have become their own brands, contributing to spreading the image of a civilized, friendly and unique Hue.
Walking streets, riverside parks, art lighting areas on both sides of the Huong River... are creating an attractive community cultural space, where people and tourists can experience the poetic yet modern beauty of Hue.
Hue today is a blend of tradition and innovation, heritage and development, cultural depth and contemporary youth. Each bridge, each road, each new urban area or public space contributes to painting a new face of Hue - more dynamic, more brilliant, but still retaining the "soul of the ancient capital".
In the vibrant development of the country, Hue is proving that: conservation is not standing still, but sustainable development on the foundation of heritage. And that is what is making Hue become one of the new symbols of Vietnamese urban areas in the green and integrated era.
