Verifying information about a girl being beaten and bruised and hospitalized

On the afternoon of October 19, a leader of the People's Committee of Co Dam commune (Ha Tinh province) said that the police are verifying information about a girl residing in Phu Hoa village, Co Dam commune, who was assaulted and had to be hospitalized in Nghe An.

On the same afternoon, leaders of the People's Committee of Co Dam commune, the Women's Union of the commune... went to the hospital in Nghe An to visit and encourage the girl.

Earlier, in the early afternoon of October 19, a social media account posted information about a 5th grade girl in Co Dam commune ( Ha Tinh province) who had to be hospitalized due to being repeatedly assaulted and beaten by her stepfather.

This account expressed outrage and called on anyone who knew a child protection hotline to intervene to help the child.

Attached to the content are some pictures and videos recording the scene of a little girl wearing a red shirt, lying on a bed; on the girl's back and sides, legs, arms, knees... there are many bruises. In particular, on the girl's head there is a torn, bleeding wound that needs to be bandaged; on the arms and legs there are some open wounds, bruises, one foot is swollen...

In the video, the girl said her name was HTNL, a 5th grader from Co Dam commune. She also said that her stepfather had beaten her many times.
