Tourism revenue reached over 180 billion VND on the occasion of September 2nd holiday

During the 4-day National Day holiday (from August 30 to September 2), Quang Ngai province welcomed more than 193,000 tourists, an increase of 32.2% over the same period in 2024. Total tourism revenue is estimated at more than 180 billion VND, an increase of 35.5%.

Of which, domestic visitors accounted for more than 162,600, international visitors about 800; the number of guests staying reached 106,230. The average room occupancy rate reached 60 to 65%. Particularly in Mang Den and Ly Son, it reached 95 to 100%. Outstanding destinations attracting many tourists include Ly Son special zone, Sa Huynh beach, My Khe, Mang Den eco-tourism area, and many community tourism spots such as Go Co, Bau Ca Cai, Binh Thanh, bringing visitors unique indigenous cultural experiences.

The number of visitors has increased this year thanks to the effect of the administrative arrangement, which has made people want to explore the new province. Along with that, the system of well-invested destinations, more diverse services, policies to improve tourism and build a unique brand have helped Quang Ngai become an increasingly attractive destination.

In the coming time, Quang Ngai province will continue to call on large enterprises to invest in tourism, while supporting localities to build more unique tourism products with their own mark. Development policies will be people-centered, so that people can truly benefit from tourism.
