Launching the award "Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Products"

(Dan Tri) - The award is given to Vietnamese organizations and businesses with outstanding digital technology products researched, designed, created, and manufactured in Vietnam, solving Vietnamese problems and going international.

On September 4, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) in coordination with the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry held a press conference to announce and launch the "Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product" Award in 2025.

The "Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product" Award is a prestigious and official award in the field of digital technology of the Ministry of Information and Communications (now the Ministry of Science and Technology) organized starting from 2020.

The award is given to Vietnamese organizations and enterprises with excellent digital technology (CNS) products researched, designed, created, and manufactured in Vietnam to solve Vietnamese problems and go international.

2025 is the sixth year the Award has been held and the first year it has been organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The award will honor outstanding digital technology products, bringing pride to Vietnamese intelligence, promoting comprehensive, all-people digital transformation to accelerate and break through the development of the digital economy, digitize economic sectors, create a leap in productivity, quality, efficiency and competitiveness of the economy, and at the same time aim to master core technologies, platform technologies and strategic technologies.

The award also continues to honor Vietnamese digital technology products that conquer the world, contribute to the development of humanity and bring prosperity to Vietnam.

At the same time, for the first time, the Award will honor outstanding strategic digital technology products in the List of strategic technologies and strategic technology products in Decision No. 1131/QD-TTg dated June 12, 2025 of the Prime Minister.

Time to receive registration and submit your application for the Award.

From September 4 to October 22.

During the period from September 4 to October 4, businesses can make preliminary registration and receive guidance from the Award Standing Agency to prepare documents according to the Regulations.

Award Category

The 2025 Awards have eight categories, including:

Continue to maintain 7 categories as the 2024 Awards including:

+ Excellent CNS products in the industrial and construction fields (information technology industry; mining industry; energy, processing and manufacturing industry; consumer goods manufacturing industry; construction).

+ Excellent CNS products in the fields of agriculture, resources and environment (agriculture, forestry, fisheries, resources and environment).

+ Excellent CNS products in the field of transportation, postal and logistics.

+ Excellent CNS products in the fields of education, health, culture and society.

+ Excellent CNS products in the fields of finance, banking, trade, services (finance, banking, trade, insurance, tourism).

+ Excellent CNS products for foreign markets.

+ Potential CNS products.

The new CNS Product Category of the 2024 Award is replaced by the Strategic CNS Product Category (which are application products: artificial intelligence, digital twins, virtual reality/augmented reality; cloud computing technology, quantum, big data; Blockchain technology; next-generation mobile network technology (5G/6G); robotics and automation technology; semiconductor chip technology).

Award Participants

- For Potential CNS Products Category: Only applicable to micro, small enterprises or innovative start-ups established under Vietnamese law (if it is a foreign-invested enterprise, Vietnamese people must own at least 51% of total shares).

- For the category of Excellent CNS Products for foreign markets: in addition to domestic enterprises with Vietnamese people holding controlling shares, the category also includes enterprises established abroad but with Vietnamese people owning at least 51% of total shares.

- For the remaining categories: enterprises established under Vietnamese law (if it is a foreign-invested enterprise, Vietnamese people must own at least 51% of the total shares) and units and career organizations with digital technology products researched, designed, created, manufactured in Vietnam and put into practical application.

Prize Structure

- Each Award Category will have the following prizes: Gold, Silver, Bronze and Top 10.

- CNS products, solutions, and services that win Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards will receive Cups and Award Certificates. Products that reach the Top 10 will receive Award Certificates.

How to enter the Award

- Enterprises and organizations participating in the contest register directly at the Award Electronic Information Portal: giaithuong.makeinvietnam.mst.gov.vn.

- Ministries, branches, localities and Associations in the field of information technology and digital technology introduce and nominate to the Ministry of Science and Technology, and at the same time notify nominated enterprises and organizations to register and submit documents at the Award Electronic Information Portal: giaithuong.makeinvietnam.mst.gov.vn.
